Pine trees are harder to be pushed over than big oak trees, I was glad about that too.

The worst part was the power being out, we had to eat all of the ice cream... XD

Liz its 3 years later post Katrina..and the LATEST a Walmart stays open in the Greater New Orleans south shore area is till midnight for the Kenner store. It really screws me up too..cause that was when I always did my grocery shopping. We all need to get together as a state..and demand Entergy be FORCED to maintain their grid better..and we need to rebuild our coast...and demand our 24 hour Wally World's back!

Omg! I hope you stay safe! But yeah wal marts tend to close durring a hurricaine. The one here in Kingsville closed just because Dolly was in South Padre which is like two hours away! Its weird...

I so know how you feel... Well not exactly because I don't live in Louisiana but my mom's family does. My grandfather,my step-grandmother, one of my aunts, my uncle, and her twin three- year olds are all fleeing to Baton Rouge... (Hey, at least it's better than New Orleans where they usually live.)
