It worked for me but after doing all that, where can I find my song on my iPod touch? It should be in Settings > Sounds > Ringtone right? I can't find it ;_;
You are a god good sir. I created a ringtone using the steps on CNET (practically the same) earlier and it didn't work (and screwed up a song in my iTunes while I was at it). Followed your step by step and SUCCESS.
does the new version of itunes not have a ringtone folder ? as i have just bought a new mac book pro and itunes doesnt have a ringtone folder in the top left corner ?
@Fantapants007 it will automatically appear as soon as you play the ringtone you just created..having no Ringtones folder on your iTunes sidebar only means you do not have any ringtones yet..make sure you follow all the steps..read the full instruction, you can find it in the video description...
I'm a complete rookie on this thing of computers, following your steps on converting my library music into ringtones i did it ,THANK YOU,THANK YOU !! you r a wizard !!
Man this is great! I actually don't feel like a dumbass when I watch your video. This gives me something to actually use my computer for. I will be subscribing to your videos from now on! Thanks......this is as great as the Mavericks winning the title!
I figured it out. I had to go into my itunes preference, then general, and import settings and change the import using to acc encoder. it was set on apple lossless. thats just a tip u can add to ya vid if sumone else has the same problem. thanks for your help.
@him2gud07 maybe you haven't selectd any song yet. you should see the "Create AAC Version" by clicking the "Advanced" on the status bar. make sure to do everything you see in the video.
U R A FUCKING LEGEND <3

Do you need to start at 0.0 seconds? Can you start the ringtone in the middle of the song?

It doesn't work when I drag it to my iPhone. It shows that it's syncing then it finished. After it's finished, I can't find it in the ringtones list.
