  • thank you for you kind words. It's the greatest feeling in the world to know that I've been fortunate enough to help so many.

  • Fantastic information. I wonder how many people have benefited from your advice. This would have translated into happiness, security, health, .... I expect it to be in the thousands. It must be very gratifying to know you have had such a positive impact on people's lives.

  • @LtEggSalad86 best thing for you would be to do volunteering

  • Thank you so much. I needed this!

  • Thanks - very useful.

  • Great interview advice. Very practical and useful for anyone preparing for an interview.

  • don't tell them your age. you don't have to, you know?

  • Hello. I'm 19 years old and from Palm Springs, Ca. I'm going to apply for a position as a customer sevice representative at the as company. It's a $22/hour job and requires great communication skills. How can I convince them that I am mature enough for this job? I've applied for jobs and had phone interviews that went GREAT but as soon as I tell them my age they back off...

  • thanks...

  • Thank you sir, well said.

  • Thank you very much for your series on this subject. I had to leave my I.T role a few years ago due to family issues and now I'm looking to get back into things. I have gained a lot more confidence again from listening to your great advice, feeling more positive than I was.

  • i see you looking up there.. btw it isnt really good if you bring in something to read off... makes you look unprepared :D

  • then how should i tell them that i need to do higher stduies with their help

  • ur a legend...!!!!

  • Thank you, it is really helpful.

  • This is one Clever man!

  • Great job man !

  • helpful! :)

  • Thanks a lot. it was very helpful.

  • if you think it will be impossible, then it will be impossible. I would suggest you change your thinking to be more positive. add up the skills you do have and then seek employment based on those skills. I have more interviewing help at job interview tools.

  • Dear Mr. Georgevich I have done my interview today for an airliner position which i had a former experience with it.However, I have failed to succeed. I feel they have sensed that there is something wrong with my leadership qualities. Nevertheless, I am know more determined to get ahead and thrive and would like to thank you for your valued advices.

  • slow down your rate of speech and that will give interviewers more time to digest what you are saying, even if you have an accent.

  • what if nationality or accent might be a problem? how do you address that?

  • Brilliant! Thanks for the tips ;-) Very clear and simple! I wish I had instructors like you at school, it'd be easier to ace all my classes!

  • It's actually really hard to make these videos for you :-) You wouldn't believe how many times I have to reshoot them. Even though I don't have the budget of a movie studio, the content is excellent which is all you really need. Enjoy!

  • why are you not looking at the camera ? are you reading something on the ceiling ?

  • @marcocancionez lmao!! i know right!!

  • I do not find that this is good insight. Most interviewers want you to expand on your experiences using situations and results you produced. I would warn anyone to use this smart-ass answer at the end about "making my managers look good." If someone said that to me, I would automatically throw their application in the trash.

  • I've been interviewing candidates for over 20 years and I assure you these are excellent techniques. Now of course you need to say it with the right voice inflection for it to work. Giving just a monotone "I----make ----- my ----- managers ----- look ----- good" ---- just isn't going to cut it. I've personally known many people to use this answer and land the job. But like I said before, the magic is not just in the answer, but the delivery. It needs to be delivered with enthusiasm. cheers

  • @DGeorgevich I have only worked at one place for 1 and a half years and been out of a job for 3 and a half years. (school and taking care of father who has cancer). I fear that this will make it impossible for me to get a job because the interviewer will see that I have pretty much no experience and been out of a job for so long. I also don't have any referrals as I don't remember any of the names of the people I worked with.

Any tips on how I can get a job?

  • @DGeorgevich I would not be a good interviewer because I would nit-pick about everything. And I would scratch off anything that the person can't prove to me. Like if someone did volunteer work but forgot who it was with, I would scratch it off and count it as if it isn't true.

My philosophy is that words are crap. They are meaningless because anyone can say anything. I only trust pure proof and evidence to back it up. No proof, no job. and I hate mistakes, I only want perfect.

  • you know what gtopcu your a ***** and you better shut up cuz don is soooooo awesome he got me a great job. the one I dreamed of having my whole life. so say what you want but don is better than u, richer than u, cooler than u. so shut up.

  • A round answer as he examples at the end of the video won't get you too far if you're a real professional in what you do.. You have to give more specific answers between your past, skillset, aims and the job description to successfully answer this question. This is my own personal opinion, and it always got me what I wanted.

  • Thank you very much for this video i have learned a lot.......
