I've been playing Maplestory since 2007, though I was on and off I remember there weren't THAT many hackers. But today's Maplestory, it's just disappointing to see a great game to come to fall. I miss everything what it use to be. Now it's just repetitive...events and stuff. :/ I was looking forward to Chaos, but PVP is just horrible... Maybe one day Nexon will realize what they did wrong like Runescape. Who knows..then again, it's Nexon we're talking about.

I love how Nexon destroyed a good game by selling out way too fast. I'm SO glad I quit Maplestory in 2008... i'll always have the memories of old MS and what a great game it was, just like most games I played in the 90's... As opposed to the MS you see nowadays..

Maplestory now is basically old Maplestory on steroids. The damage is ridiculous, pointless maps, pointless bosses, pointless classes, it went from a great game to a sub par, money leeching excuse for a game...

B.) Maplestory is bad IN YOUR OPINION, I've been playing for almost 5 years now, and I think it's great, the game really knows how to conform to the gamestyle that people love, and that in turn brings in more players. With that lots of NX sales, and eventually it leads to greatness in NX.

C.) "RIP Maplestory" again, maplestory is at it's peak in revenue, meaning that the game is alive and well, you're just butthurt, go cry

@AllHeilKitler I used to play private servers to, and tbh, the communities are much better and much nicer than in GMS. They give people opportunity to do things they normally can't do in GMS, such as HT, Czak, CHT, and PB for most people. The main objective when playing maple is to have fun. Private servers are a way of having fun for some people.

Although maplestory is at a peak in revenue, the maplestory from 2005 has evolved into a completely different game to what is is now.

Man, this brings back memories from MapleSyrup, my private server. Most people think private servers are just a bunch of hackers, but we were truly a family. Now Nexon's gone and ruined everything with their overpriced and broken NX items that give NX buyers way too much of an advantage, and the Big Bang. They destroyed all those nostalgic maps I used to love for years.

I know what you mean. Me and my friend hosted a server and our community was so close. We weren't a huge servers just shy of 100 players. But we were all friendly. Every update that comes out now in maplestory is ust another ploy to make nexon money. Look carefully and everything somehow leads to cash shop.

Tinmai is just stupid, The update hes talking about is similar to the time temple,

nexon wants players to see what the future holds in the game to create motivation to win.

Its similar to the future versions accessible from zipangu, as in its an OPTION to go to those areas and its for higher level characters, and training wont help you at all. That is an extremely high level area, and ive seen 200s die fighting the boss.
