I truly agree that humor is an excellent peaceful response. I am so impressed with how the OWS global moment has remained non-violent. It is love, peace & joy that put out the flames of hate, corruption & finantual suffering that is crippling humanity. Gandhi chose these wise methods & won. United in peace humanity can stand taller than we ever imagined possible. Thanks for the booty shake at the end Scott, sharping cougar claws now ;)

@DVincentW Yeah, the fact of living on the streets is....it's a bit shit really! As much as I believe Occupying is a mind-blowingly awesome spectacle of people power, it leaves itself wide open to being pulled apart by endless street hassles. Some of us here are talking about purprosely scaling back the Occupation to a small vigil that doesn't attract drama, but we'll see.
It was great to read Hedges' latest column in Truthdig, about the churches needing to give space and support to the Occupy movement, or otherwise signing off on any vestiges of moral credibility they might still possess. Tweak those churches, Occupy Melbourne!
