Ok so I just noticed something werid with this script in BackTrack 5 R1. BT5r1 tends to spit you out a error about the run level warnning. I have seen the problem and I have now fixed it. I will make a new video for the RT5r1. Just a simple modifcation and should be easy fix. Sorry i've been lazy and very bussy. You can still download this for the BT5r1, you will just have to wait for the new video. :)
Hey i was woundering everytime i try to retart the vmware player with command after doing all this it just lke stops or kind of freezes wen its restarting with the command. i leave it for lke 10 min n still dosnt restart so i close it out and everything is gone how to make it work? or i just wait longer?
@MMMMMMMMMMWMMMMMMMMM what kind of usb card brand do you have? i have known some cards from other youtubers.. That have had a problem with it. It has to do with the brand of the card and not the chip. It has to do with how the inner workings of the builder has programed the controller for the chip.
@MMMMMMMMMMWMMMMMMMMM yes thats the chipset but what is the name of the card or builder.. Like the alfa uses rtl818 chip and so does the gsky.. 2 different manufactures use the same chip rtl8187.
@Toonamik b/c the chipset kills its self... it's a very strange thing... It has to do with it a vmware problem... If you test a full Hdd install without vmware hdd install it doesn't have this problem... Or on the Live cd/dvd... I or other linux people don't know why it happens... but it does... the new alpha with the new chipset doesnt have this problem with vmware...
Its fixing for like 1-3 commands, after using something like airodump-ng -c 6 -w blabla --bssid 19.32.... It sometimes sends again 132 error, sometimes no. Then i need to do again same stuff with removing and adding rtl drivers. And start over, and i cant really go deep enough because out of 5 commands it will show 100%. ;(
@curemymind I found a tutorial on how to get the belkin network adapter working, however it required ndiswrapper, and it still won't install. Then to make it worse, somehow the autorun-prompt application just disappeared. I quit backtrack5.
@PWNAGE8NATHAN You do realize the autorun-prompt can be found in the terminal... I do have other videos for Backtrack you should get familiar with before you attempt to install things.. Another aproched would be to work with ubuntu before you try backtrack since backtrack is more CLI then GUI, even tho it has a perty GUI.. But oh well since you quit backtrack5.. Yes backtrack is fustrating but very enjoyable once your able to do something neat or what you want on it.. Best of luck

@GreenNati0n If you waited for 10 mins for any thing you have waited for way too long... What do you mean "restart the vmware play with command"? What exactly are you doing? So you start the vmware player and then you start the script in the video and it just freezes even when you want to restart the vmware?

Im running BT5R1, I think my problem is I don't have drivers for the network adapter on OSX(They Don't exist) but i am not very sure. Or if i don't have the right drivers for Backtrack5, however I saw a guide to fix this for my network adapter. I followed the guide, the link didn't exist so i got it on OSX and put it across. I cant open it because it has root privileges or something, thats my problem atm (its a installer.sy file
@PWNAGE8NATHAN If its unknown then you will have to 1st see if its compatable, I do know there are still cards out there that do not work :|... But you could try to find the drivers for it and install it... Or just re-install the Linux drivers for wifi... But i cant help you if you don't give me the model number and name of the network adapter... Let me know if you need help but google is a good friend to...
@superdatamaskin dolphin came with backtrack 5... I asume u are using an older versino of backtrack? or some other linux distrobution? Im sure a google search on how to install and configure that will get you lots of links... but if you are still having problems just let me know and ill make a video of it later :)... But what are you using? so i can help you on that, unless you wanna google it... :)

@prime106 You don't need to open up the proc folder just open up the konsole since everything even the install will be down from there... But it looks like there might be some permission issues with your proc folder... What are the commands that you actually do? Also What is the name of your usb wifi card.. B/c I do know that some card's use a different chipset even tho its the same programing.
@AdventurousChannel This is how to fix the 123 error in rtl8187... Metasploit is another thing, I haven't used that awesome pice of work in a while. What version is it and what version are you trying to update it to? Let me know that and I will look into it.. I remeber updating metasploit before in BT4 but i don't remember how. But since I haven't looked what BT5 version has then I wont know how to help you. So just let me know and I would make a video for that.

@prime106 You don't need to open up the proc folder just open up the konsole since everything even the install will be down from there... But it looks like there might be some permission issues with your proc folder... What are the commands that you actually do? Also What is the name of your usb wifi card..
