I mean think about it, Jet li knows how to play the silent yet deadly type martial artist in movies, just as kung lao is the silent yet deadly type of shaolin monk when it comes to fighting. dude this guy is retarded, you cant have every single actor from the original casts of the first 2 movies, cus 1) its stupid, 2) it'd be nearly impossible to get all those actors back in the same room, and since you cant have shou as liu kang why would you have linden ashby calling some other guy liu kang? and 3) they want to be original, and drop the cartooney feel of the previous movies, so theyre getting a better line up. lambert is a fan favorite, and the icon of the franchise.

I just did some research and Linden Ashby and Chris Cammacassa will reprise their roles as Johhnny Cage and Scorpion. I'll admit they were two of the better actors in the first two movies. I just hope they actually explore Scorpion and Sub-Zero's rivalry and give the two of them dialogue this time.
