Too cute! He odviously didn't like it at first until he saw you eating it. Thats how you draw them in, eat it like it's the best thing in the world and they'll be curious enough to give it a second chance.
It's amazing how babies/toddlers taste is often times so untainted - if they haven't been introduced to food that contain large amount of sugar or salt, they would eat what's good for them.

always good to start them off eating healthy. wish i had done that with my kids. they will not touch natto.
