This is EXACTLY how we did it a few years back at my high school. I get a little annoyed when people think they have to hit the high notes as loud as they can but you were so well balanced. Great Job!

I love this song. Especially because it's actually about brooms. And brooms getting knocked out of their places for a certain dirty little reason.... hehe. When you think about it, lots of good choir songs just boil down to sex. Lord bless the Russians. They need it.

We did this is my All-District Chorus in Oklahoma also! Like 06 or 07 xD I should probably remember cause it's the only year I went as a Bass 1 (Usually do Tenor).

pretty good. tenors need to beef it up though. a very clean performance. diction is good. nice balance. good vowels. nice depth. lovely phrasing. noble performance. i dont' like the shriek at the end though. i don't remember that being in the music....hmmm.

Conductor added the shriek at the end to make it sound more...ethnic?? Like we WERE the people from the country singing it.

Whenever we preformed this song we preformed it with a yell, although the High Sopranos sounded like a shriek.

lol, I hear ya. I was actually one of the tenors in this performance... Most of the tenors couldn't sustain anything above an F without going into falsetto...

this is cool! I'm learning this piece now for a summer chorus. Singing it faster sounds waaay cool but some say it's difficult. Good Job by the way!
