You have REALLY screwed this game up! That or your disc sucks! But, I still find it cool how you hack the game for a few of your glitches, while some are actual glitches that anyone can acces, unless its region controlled (EX: PAL).

I must say that even though PikolUploader thinks there is no big secret in the game I think otherwise. I simply don't think you will be able to see what it is unless you do some certain thing that will flick the switch on. But this could simply be me with my romantic dreams X3.

Yes, I own it. :) It's quite linear compared to SotC.. well I suppose most games are if compared to SotC, though. In ICO you backtrack on few occasions and you aren't as free to roam as in SotC. Even so, it really is a must play. Almost the whole game takes place within a giant castle/around castle grounds, but the environments are quite diverse and look/feel wonderful for such an early PS2 release. Oh and if you like game easter eggs, there is a sort of side quest for a very powerful weapon. :)

He got up there using a specific glitch, not hacking. The glitch occurs at a low chance in the emulator when the game is loading an area from the disk. The game may "freeze" when this is happening, causing the character to move in slow motion for a couple seconds. Immediately after this, the character moves extremely fast for another few seconds. During this time, you can sometimes run through walls, and if you're lucky, if you're inside a wall when it runs out, you'll be launched into the air.

Also, how did you get it running via pcsx so smoothly? I've got a 2.8ghz machine with a beastly graphics card, and I can't get more than a frame per second.

its not the real speed of the game, i get around 40 fps, the renderering from the recording made it look like its running at normal speed ^^

You're going to need a 3.0ghz+ Dual Core, or a 2.5ghz+ Quad Core to run the game at playable speeds (around 30FPS+). Don't even think of running it on a single core processor... you'll be lucky to get over 2 FPS.

Yeah, sorry, you're right. Well, I mean, if you have a quad core, you can still run PCSX2, but you're right... a quad core wont give you better performance than a dual core will, because it'll still only make use of two of the cores, and ignore the other two.

A 2.5ghz Quad Core would probably perform worse than a 3.0ghz Dual Core would...

from my understanding there are 2 colossi that didnt show up in the published ver of the game, but you can only find them by modding the game, and both are inactive even if you open up the blocked paths but one will still show the cut scene, I have not proven this but I have talked to a guy that helped work on the project, Id like to belive it, but I cant mod XD

Oh, i meant the guy was a programmer that helped with the creation of SOTC, the English one anyway, I met him on an mmo some time back, said he was playin alota diff mmos to help with ideas for there next project, but he had to stop a bit later cause he needed to work, so I have not seen him in a long time.

i still say that there is one BIG secret still left. think about it. If you go around the temple you see these weird pictures that look like they can open? i think that there is a Room or something hidden at the top or bottom of the map. I think you can find Dormin again. but idk for sure. i know dormin was sealed away but hey who knows for sure.

I would like to believe that too but if there is no way higher from that ledge how else will you get to the top? The outside of the temple has been thouroughly scoured for any other ledges multiple times, and there are none in your reach. I think we just have to admit there is no way. Exept for Pikol. :)
