So, a being that was intelligent enough to fashion a tool like a stone axe continued to use said tool for "another million years". Really? Come on now, isn't that just stretching credulity just a touch? I'd be really surprised (and disappointed) if they hadn't figured out something better within a hundred years. Furthermore, early humans kicking off even a million years ago is, to my maths anyway, statistically impossible. Work it out for yourselves people.
@georgeatg1 You can't judge their ability to advance their tool industry based on your own standards. Your brain is much more advanced than theirs was. They lacked the imagination and planning necessary to build on their own technology. There's nothing statistically impossible (or otherwise impossible) about humans existing millions of years ago. You should really research the details of how all these things are known before you dismiss them because they are very well understood.
lame video just bc he found some skulls doesnt prove alot, what about monkeys? explain that why havnt they evolved why do they still exist? science constantly changes the world was flat and now its round, whats next? lol
Way to show you understand nothing about evolution. We did not evolve from monkeys. We evolved separately from a common ancestor. And lets not forget it was religion that claimed the world was flat and tried to silence the scientists who knew otherwise.
I am from UK where we are almost completely secular. Americans should have this kind of great information shown in schools as there are still far too many religious fanatics who teach Creationism in school, which is NONSENSE. These people keep saying show me the evidence. Thank you for doing just that. It is a real shame that creationist believers will never even look at this, as Facts scare them. They would rather believe myths instead of facts!!!
Succinct and highly explanatory. Very nice, along the lines of "How we know what we know." It's not because "we said so" or "this book says so," but because there's a lot of evidence and here's some of it - not "over there somewhere," but right "HERE" on my desk and we can talk about it.
