I played this game when it came out and played WOW too

this game made me not play WOW at all. That is until I got off of the pirate city; then you would almost need a group to do any of the quests. I quit after that, but then again that was right when it came out. Has it improved since then?

you really don't need an amazing system to play the game, you just can't have a POS i mean, i just got a computer with a 3650 in it with 4g of ram and i can run it on high settings and keep 30-50 fps. This game' requirements are on par with most other games on the market, and people still treat it like it's crysis.

@mihgm The helm with the horn is t3 barb armor, and the other toon with downward facing horns is the bear shaman pvp t2-t3 armor with a color variation. the rest just looks like generic/ crafted.

If you mean the guy with the horns at 0:47, then he's a bear shaman, so it's bs armour.

this game is so much better then people think, you jsut ahve to put some time into it and having a really good pc is a must imo simply becuase the graphics make the game, they really do. nothing is better then chopping shits head off in an mmo with max graphics settings in DX10.

im thinkin of buying this game. does any1 kno wat the minimum requirements r to play. i got a 8600 graphix card, duel core prossecor. is that good enough to play this game.( and plenty of ram too.)

a single 8600 will prob run this game at mid setting with around 30fps.

i got a dual sli 8800 and it can run max except for raids.

what speed is your dual core?

You can check your cpu speed by going to start then right click on "my computer" then properties.

AOC recommended specs:

2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo E6600

2GB of system memory

NVIDIA Geforce 7900GTX or higher

32GB of Space

If you are satisfied with high range graphics solo questing and mid to low range graphics raids, you should be fine.

Always go higher than the recommended specs, you never want to just meet the recommended requirement for computer specs, if you want the game to look good.

yes i think ur right freedomfighter wow is cartoonish and really boring to play and when the wow geek's realize that AoC is way much better, AoC is gonna take the lead of worlds number 1 online game

WoW has been out for years, AoC hasn't just wait when until AoC makes it all right they got plenty of time and believe me, AoC's first expansion will beat WoW's all 2 together, and when AoC has been out for years like WoW has done the game will be at the top and wow at the bottom

nah, its a pretty game, but it miss very important aspects the of mmorpg gameplay. So sorry, but they have to remake the whole gamesystem to match a titan like world of warcraft. Not said that i like "wow", but indead it´s a thousand times more catchy than "aoc" ..

Funcom has changed the game alot with fixed and updates and new content, it's totally another different experience when u play it and also a big project is on the way to make sure all bugs are fixed and give the game improvements + an expansion is coming, and both these 2 things are coming out this year, the project will soon be out i think, maybe on the summer or earlier and the expansion like in the end of this year i'm returning to this game now

I returned like a month ago myself but this patch really made me want to play more. Been exploreing the cave myself and finds the bosses in there a real challange compared to all the easy mode dungions that we seen so far in AoC.

PS: I want GM flying skills too when I make my fraps in AoC.... :P

Yea i also returned resonantly, and i love it.

I am also on fury (was on battlescar before but now on fury since the servers got merged). Yea theres alot of people on fury. And at all hours (even late at night).

The fury server is a lot of fun. A tat nihilistic but fun.

Some of the new features i like is the notoriety, and pvp gear.

Most of the memory leaks are gone, and many bugs (not all) have been fixed.

I just resubbed again this week. And all the servers have a good population since the server mergers. Lots of people are getting back into AoC so it can only get better.

Yep, there's coming more people now. After the server merge the server "Fury" is GREAT. Lots of people whining about its over populated. You know.. If you love pvp go for this server. Or choose a PvE server. But i think PvE is kinda boring atm. Choose what you like.

WOTLK ruined WoW. People start leaving now. I hope people finally understand that WoW is OUT. No offence. hehe

For those who wonder if it might be time to get back to Age of Conan. well. It's SO many bugs that are fixed. they still have some bugs but you wont really be botherd to hell by it as at launch. It's a nice game. fun to play and if you wanna do pvp and you gather some ppl you will get to do pvp. not the sick que times anymore. just sometimes

Yes alot. The PvP update was a big update, a nice one. A new dungeon for mid 50's. There IS less players. But they are merging servers soon. And i think there will be alot of new players this upcomin year. Right now i see new players coming in almost all the time. So there are coming new players. Hope to see u coming back ;)

AOC had alot of problems at lunch, but now all does problems are pretty much gone, and the game has imrpoved ALOT, they will lunch a new huge patch in january with 2 new lvl 80 dungeons and 1 new lvl 46 dungeon/ DX10 / pvp-resources and much more !
