I never got Winters... if Summers is supposed to represent a resort town in Mexico, you'd think a cold place called Winters would be opposite, and represent Canada... though besides the cold it seems to share more similarities with Britain

@Monkeyboy92037 Keep in mind the first large part of the game takes place in "Eagleland" which is a clear parody of the US, so its not that I think the world is centered around the US but that Earthbound is. I always got the impression of Summers being a popular warm tourism destination south of Eagleland, and thus being in a Latin American country, but its been a while since I've played that part of the game so I could be wrong.

@PrrrromotionGiven Emulators allow more options and features, like save states, and different ways to emulate the graphics/sound itself. Emulators can make the game look MUCH better then it did 15 years ago on a 30 in CRT. I own this game, i've had it since i was a kid, but playing on emulator is MUCH more enjoyable for me. And completely legal since i own the original game.

I was playing the rom of EarthBound and when I fought the giant cave man like monster I didn't have enough healing items or any at all and I died... I was doing pretty good at first because it kept missing but then it started to hit me more and more and it had way too much health...
