What is "sleeper" about an svt focus? It has around 170hp while the crx si has 125hp and is at least 20 years old. The crx is a much better car in every way and 20 years later it still is running well. That focus will be scrap by the time it's that old.
don't get me wrong hondas have potential. especially the f20 honda s2000. that's about the most capable you'll get with a honda however. gsr or not. your engine is only capable of max 450 hp. i like how people can argue and say there b18 or gsr run over 800hp. lol an engine is only capable of what it's capable of. there is no higher potential than that deal with it

And that svt just beat like a 17-18 second, single cam, probably not even vtec 1.5 engine. lol

@92vtecgsr Honda's are overrated. I've grew up around Honda boys and they talk the most trash and get eaten up on the highway. I got a friend with a sleeper boosted GSR with 350whp on 20lbs. He spent well over 10k on his car and he got ate up by a Porsche 944 with a stock ls1. Your gsr on 5lbs of boost will get ate up by a rx-7 all day everyday.
@yungjmoneyboy He got it it dyno'd on a mustang dyno which reads about 10-15% less than a dynojet dyno. It would be around 400 on dynojet. That 10k includes 2 different turbo setups he had and a jdm front. His first turbo went out and left oil in the intercooler. The msd ignition setup he had ended up magnetizing his distributor and the spark plugs only last about 1000 miles before they need to be replaced. He got rid the msd setup and went back to a factory distributor temporarily.

@brompton247 America is obviously totally different to us then, in the UK the Focus ST 170 (which is your ZX3 SVT) is more common then muck. We have them crawling like ants here and we hardly have any VW GTi's comparing the popularity ratio. In the UK buying a Focus ST 170 is really following the sheep. Ford Focuses are disgustingly common in England every drive way has got one and no one thinks outside the box.

What is "sleeper" about an svt focus? It has around 170hp while the crx si has 125hp and is at least 20 years old. The crx is a much better car in every way and 20 years later it still is running well. That focus will be scrap by the time it's that old.

don't get me wrong hondas have potential. especially the f20 honda s2000. that's about the most capable you'll get with a honda however. gsr or not. your engine is only capable of max 450 hp. i like how people can argue and say there b18 or gsr run over 800hp. lol an engine is only capable of what it's capable of. there is no higher potential than that deal with it

@bombshellbetty1 umm a stock gsr engine does 170 to the flywheel which means at least 145 to wheels and even 5 lbs of boost would make it over 200 to the wheels with a moderate tune. you should at least try to use google or sumthin to know the basics on dohc vtec engines. And that svt just beat like a 17-18 second, single cam, probably not even vtec 1.5 engine. lol

to tha guy with tha rx7 i have a 92 eg hatch with gsr swap in it i will runn 5 pounds of boost and eat that rx7 with no prob at all just cause it is a honda doesnt mean its slow or fast its wat is done to it people like hondas cause u can get one cheap and have so much potential from it so easy my hatch was 249 on a all motor build now its 392 on 7 pounds and i have papers to prove and track times to so to every one that dnt like hondas your just mad cause u are to dumb to see wat they can do

@92vtecgsr Honda's are overrated. I've grew up around Honda boys and they talk the most trash and get eaten up on the highway. I got a friend with a sleeper boosted GSR with 350whp on 20lbs. He spent well over 10k on his car and he got ate up by a Porsche 944 with a stock ls1. Your gsr on 5lbs of boost will get ate up by a rx-7 all day everyday.

@yungjmoneyboy He got it it dyno'd on a mustang dyno which reads about 10-15% less than a dynojet dyno. It would be around 400 on dynojet. That 10k includes 2 different turbo setups he had and a jdm front. His first turbo went out and left oil in the intercooler. The msd ignition setup he had ended up magnetizing his distributor and the spark plugs only last about 1000 miles before they need to be replaced. He got rid the msd setup and went back to a factory distributor temporarily.
