  • If Gino didn't have kids, I'm hoping at least he donated his sperm to his local sperm bank.

  • The big question is, after all that, did he produce any offspring?

  • Competing with Michael Jackson wasn't easy back then.

  • That shot of him in the beginning of the video lying on the bed made me stop breathing for a bit. Wow, so much talent and smolder.

  • They tended to overproduce music back then. LoL

  • @tubeb*****: ROFLMAO!!!!!

  • @EPhantomify LOL! Doesn't this get you horny too?

  • @tubeb****: I'm just seeing your hilarious question. In reply: I compare Gino to the Phoenix. His voice, after rising from the ashes set others free. I am just one of the many. (Have you seen Man Alive?) That voice pierced my greatest darkness and transformed into a wind. I agree. Gino is "true beauty." Yet, true beauty is often misunderstood. So, no, Gino does not make me horny. If I were a gay male I would still feel this way. I consider Gino as my inspiration. (Does this help?)

  • @tubeb****: OMG! I paused a second and wondered if I would feel the same way about Gino if I were a heterosexual female? You are funny!

  • @EPhantomify Well I listened to Gino when I was pretty much a lesbian and I still liked his vocals.

  • @studiosinger Cheers to you being "pretty much a lesbian" and still liking Gino's vocals! :-)

  • Puta que pariu, queria ter nascido nos anos 80 meu irmão!!!

  • @gr8flavinho:

(Portugese): Um pequeno enferrujado com meu Portugese. Maio Gino vive um longo, saudável, vida próspera e feliz!! (English): A little rusty with my Portugese. May Gino live a long, healthy, prosperous and happy life!!

  • @EPhantomify I wish him the same!

    Hugs!

  • Amazing amazing song ......so why don't I have it on my ipod yet?, excuse me while I rectify the matter.

  • Awesome ....... awesome ........ gotto listen to it when the night is quiet.

  • Gino is so hot here it's sick! Those jeans are really doing it for me! I have watched this video 73 times in a row! Damn, they should clone this man not only for his music genius but for his "Eye Candiness"!

  • @tubebitch12 In spite of his nice bod, his performance was hilarious.

  • @studiosinger Well I did not laugh, I am still drooling all over it! This video has sealed my fantasies!!!! LOL! What the heck! Gino got by on a lot of his performances, because of his looks! The ladies, just did not mind! I never said he was a flawless dancer! Now the 1978 live Brother to Brother performance, that's freaking, bust a gut!!!

  • @tubebitch12 You really have a serious problem...you should limit it to 50!

  • @DAVWAVE You know, I'm still trying to find the right support group!

  • @tubebitch12 Good for you! Were you able to reproduce after all? Or did you have sea monkey batch #1?

  • @tubebitch12 Well I never felt a thing but I liked his vocals.

  • 3 people have something wrong in the head

  • @1998timcop They tried to walk at night but ended up stumbling and doing a face plant into a curb.

  • Simply PERFECTION!!!

  • MEN THINK THAT LOVING GINO ITS A GAY THING , THATS IT , CANT BE MORE STUPID ATTITUDE , I LOVE GINO , A LOOOT , MY MAN LOVES IT TOO,,,LOL

  • УВАЖАЮ!!! КАРАСАВЧИК ДЖИНО!!!

  • @MrBdog1342 man........ your past is my present

  • @lunar777sky

    HAHA!!!...NICE!!!

  • @1998timcop how is that nice lol

  • Vinnie Coliauta rocked on this album.

  • Don Cornelius' favorite white boy.

  • The All time greatest albums by Gino Vanelli, my all-time FAVORITE artist, PERIOD!!!

    1. Storm at Sun Up

    2. Black Cars (He did EVERYTHING on this LP!)

    3. Brother to Brother, and oddly

    4. Gist of the Gemini

Now to find his newer stuff.

  • You want to hear some incredible work, I would recommend you listen to Gino's 1985 LP entitled 'Black Cars' and his 1987 effort entitled, "Big Dreamers Never Sleep." Amazing music, top notch engineering. First class production.

  • amazing video!!! awesome!!! one of my old time favorites...

love this amazing artist work ...they are masterpieces!!!

  • So true I am from from Michigan and i remember when Detroit was or had that winning season and Gino made that song about the lions. He used to hang out in Detroit back then. He made that song called black and blue; a motor city love affair, he was talking about a black chic he was kick it with.

  • This was also Bond flick, "Octopussy's" opening theme. During the numbering. :)

  • rip MARK CRANEY (DRUMMER).

  • this was the very first gino vannelli song i ever heard. i listened to it about 5 years ago off my dad's record. i only played it because the album cover looked cool. and im happy to have played it since

  • OMG how I love Gino Vannelli! This is one of my favorite songs. When a song can bring back good memories of your ex-husband, you know it's a good song. Lol!

  • DAAAAAMMMMMMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

    Gino!!!!!!! :)

  • This brings back memories of Charleston S.C back in 1982, when i was in the navy. Good times

  • Vinnie kicks ass on this song! But Bobby Bittman... "Don't touch the hair!!!" lol! Gino, get over yourself:)

  • i say the same as Synthcatt, i always play all kinds off jazz, my kids dosent mind, they growing up 2 it, from sthepen Grappelli (sorry if i dident spell it right) allan holswotrh, ted greene, putte wickman, michael brecker shi t i could go on forever. Every sunday is Jazz day and loud. I bow to all people that want more than raido shi t.

  • Gino, the master ! Since 1974 and Crazy Life, I've never stop listening to his wonderful songs and amazing voice !!!

  • Stange.....did we lose Mark during the production of this album? Never really did get a good look at the drummer, and if anyone could look convincing as a right hander playing lefty, it would be Vinnie....what a great album...."Santa Rosa" and "Seek And You Will Find" are two of Vinnies best....thank God for Gino Vannelli

  • THIS GIVES ME MAJOR GOOSEBUMPS EVERY TIME... What a song!

  • One of Gino's under rated songs. Great beat, melody, lyrics, guitar solo. Another master piece by the master of generations Gino Vannelli.

  • This Gino song is under rated. It's one of his best out of his enormous meaningful songs. Melody, performance and lyrics combined. Just beautiful. Another Gino piece of art.

  • @ragopian

You are soooo right. He is unfathomably underrated!!! It's a crime.

  • muisic perfect !!

  • Play your 40's-70's music for your kids. The silver sooned execs have ruined the "good" evolution of the last 25 years of popular music. Therefore, we're still waiting for the evolution of real music from the 70's/early 80's.

  • Great musicians influenced by the great music of yesterday (40's-70's). Now we have "musicians" influenced by the last 20 years of crap. Sad to say it's not looking good for the next 20 years. Play your jazz records for your kids.

  • amazing westcoast-aor music !!!!!!!

  • this song is so beautiful i love it the first song i heard from gino vannelli thanks for posting

  • gracias youtube, gracias nalexan, for this great song, great memories, tanks Gino for exisist.

  • Gino tiene toda la pasión, excelente voz y buen gusto realmente lo admiro

    Gracias Gino

    Many Thanks, Gino

    Merci Beaucoup, Gino

  • VINNIE!!!!!!! I can't get enough of that man's attitude in his playing, no one like it for me. Makes me want to jump up and run around biting people just to make sure they're diggin' it as much as me!....sorry...did i text that out load?!

  • @tedleyedwards haha... I got ur point buds! :D

  • What great energy in this song!!! Gino is incredible!!! I heard him since i was 16 but everyone is an emotion. Thanks for post!

  • Wilma, alles goed? Wij kijken deze video voor jou.

Groetjes van Sara en Sv en.

  • Right, Colaiuta played the whole album but Mark Craney is in the video.

  • Fantastico, no me canso de escuchar sus antiguas y nuevas canciones...es un un gran compositor y cantante...ademas tiene un a energia increible!!!

  • Gino is a BEAST!!!!!!

  • I believe Vinnie was the hired skinsman for the Nightwalker studio session but that guy in the video's definitely not him.

  • I had no idea it was vinnie, for some reason i was thinking spooky tooths old drummer?

  • for my the drummer is mike craney left hand

  • CIAO GINO SN DI CASTELLAMMARE napoli ...SoNo CRESCIUTO CON LA TUA MUSICA DA 30 ANNI....CIAO UOMO GRANDE DELLA MUSICA MONDIALE..UNICO E INIMITABILE!!!!!!!! THE BEST.

  • Vinnie was left-hand??

  • I don't think that's vinnie in the video. As far as I know, he's always played traditional grip and he's always played right-handed.

It doesn't really look like him either. Maybe he only played session drums and wasn't in the video?

  • Oh. This rocks. Always been a fan.

  • What a killer rhythm section , Total A list Players, Vinnie and Neil. The Video is cheesey , but what a great song

  • MAGNIFIQUE MAGNIFIQUE MAGNIFIQUE

  • esto es un gran tema de dificil composicion y arreglos propios de los maestros Gino ,Ross & Joe Vannelli

  • I've ever thinked that here is Colaiuta on drums....

    bah

    divine song

  • Guess Gino didn't think the real drummer(vinnie colaiuta) and bassist (neil stubenhaus) had the right look to actually be in the video of their own playing.

  • It is a shame indeed, as both of them are masters....

  • I would say the record company probably made that decision or they weren't available for the video.

  • Thanks for posting!! Listened to this album so much, I wore it out. Gino is the BEST!!! Great musicians and Gino, what could get any better?

  • After all these years I come back again and again to this great artist, the music, the lyrics are simply great.

Gino I adore you, you are timeless!

  • Yes, he's incredible. I've been listening to his music off and on for years. Wonder how old he is now and what he looks like? Does he still perform and record?

  • he just had a birthday june 16th ,he is 57 fine as ever

  • @Tactical111 apparently yes.. and he's 58 ( Italians age well... LOL

  • The scenes with the black cat makes me cry.....

  • Simply one of the greatest and most talented male singers of all time even if this is super cheesy.

  • when i close my eyes i feel your sweet sensation..doesn' t get anymore romantic than that. even after all this years hearing this song, i can still feel my lovers hands and see his eyes...mesmerizing....wow!!!

  • Quite possibly the most full-of-himself artist ever!!! Said with love and admiration for an incredible instrument.... But this is truly awful:-D And kind of funny...

  • Maybe, but he was a great artist wasn't he, and he can still sing and perform, plus unique.

  • Mark and Gino..you are fab. Mark,I love you..your shade on the wall on this video is so great,so scooby doo kind of. You are the wonderer. I know you are playing the drums in Paradise. Mark, a big hug, tullio

  • Terrific musicians. Incredible song. Awesome album.

Gino is the most complete Artist ever.

    5*****

    Emotions.

  • Eso es estilo Gino!

  • Opah estas cabeleiras deviam ser moda outra vez.... :)

  • Nice mullet action!!!!

  • the video is so wrong but the music is so wright

  • So Funny!!

  • When you have a head of hair like that, and a voice like that, you can make ANY kind of video and I will love it.......

a little extra cheese never hurt anyone....

    Amazing music!

  • Que voz impresionante!!! que fuerza tiene esta cancion me encanta!!!

  • One of the greatest rock songs of all time!

Terrific personnel and tremendous musicianship! Top vocal talent and a very magnetic performance by Vannelli

  • Yes! your right!!

  • Surely Gino, Joe and Mike Miller

are in the video; Is Mark Craney (rip) the drummer? ( surely isn't Vinnie )

Too dark to see if Neil is the bass player.

  • It is Mark Craney & (I think)a young Nathan

    East!!!!

  • Really great song, Gino is a terrific vocalist, this song is one of my favourites.

  • Yeah! I remember when I first purchased this album and hearing this song for the first time - wow I was blown away then "Santa Rosa" came on - magic pure magic! if your foot wasn't tapping or your head wasn't bobbing up and down - you have no soul!!!!!

  • Great song! Great album!

  • The 80's... woking midnight at the Marcus Hook Refinery.. listening to WIOQ.. missing you Liz...

  • always good players around him. very tasty drums at the end. cool!

  • No singer in the world has ever had the total package like GINO, the looks, the voice, the moves, the sexiness without even trying to be sexy, he sings directly to you and pulls your heart strings, he invades your dreams, and makes you believe that maybe one day before we leave this earth , if we are truly blessed we will find the love that he sings about in his songs, although I wish I had Gino all to my self, I hope God has given him a love that never lets him down. Gino you are the BEST.

  • I like this song, but I anxious for hears or sees and has song Jojo and Felicia from Gino Vanelli earns in sharing here

    thanks

    andreij

  • I've come back to watch this video every night for the past week. So many memories. Great passion, musicianship, and power. I wish this CD were back in print!

  • This is classic Gino. I was 14 when this album was released. It was one of my favorites and still is. I have it on vinyl and have been trying to find it on CD for years in the used shops...

The guy was a major star even if it was somewhat underground. Whoever said he wasn't a Record Company butt kisser is exactly right. The guy did it ON HIS terms..not theirs...That's why his music is still memorable and fresh now as it was in 1980!

Would love to see him in concert today! Go Gino!

  • Terrific band and great singer, really melds jazz into rock beautifully. Who is in the band? So well balanced, lots of depth, musicians are all strong, as is vocalist.

  • Gino - keys

    Vinnie Colaiuta - Drums

    Mike Miller - Guitar

    Neil Stubenhaus - Bass

    Mike Fisher - Percussion

Absolutely the #1 A-List Band in LA at the time.

  • Great track which holds all the best of Gino's sound.Like this one you will like Santa Rosa from the same album.

Have listened to Gino for over 30 years and planning to make a trip to Canada to see him in concert next year.

  • I hope Gino reads messages on Youtube: Ilike your voice and I like You!! Angela from Italy

  • I hope Gino reads my message: I like your voice and I like you!!! angela from Italy

  • I hope Gino reads my message: I like your voice and I like You!!!! Angela from Italy

  • play the beginning of this song really loud, close your eyes...its like an orgasm

  • Alot of brother's won't admit it but they know that Gino Vanneli was one of the baddset vocalist in the 70's & 80's!My mother and all of the black women that i know simply swooned over this cat looks and powerfull vocals.Alot of black urban radio stations played some of his major hit's daily!Mr.Vannelli i salute you for keeping my mom & pop together with your song's like,Brother to brother,I just wanna stop,And living inside myself. You are one baddass italian mo-fo foreal!Love you bro & Thank's.

  • Yo bro nice comments it just shows whether your black, white or whatever you appreciate the artist for their talents and not their color. And I have many black friends who convey your thoughts. Well said my brother too bad more people don't feel the same way!

  • @theeye7 can u please make me understand why black people are mentioned

  • HOT

  • Excellent song!!

  • smooth dude is gino.

  • This video is making me want to slip on a sleeveless shirt, squeeze into a pair of slim-cut jeans, and run out to a video store to rent "Mulletville". ...I wonder if dancing like Gino V. would make me look taller....

  • You forgot about the white boots, you gotta have the white boots to pull off the look...

  • I just love this video,he is so beautiful here.

    Cather 333

    5 *****

  • gino is the best.bellissimo

  • This video gives me the urge to run out and rent "Mulletville" and buy some slim cut jeans.

  • I saw him three times in the late 70's and early 80's WOW. A bigger arena each time. He was loved at the concerts. What a seemingly sweet gentleman. At one time he expressed surprise that so many knew his lyrics. Don't know the man, but appeared to be humble and appreciative. One of the best voices ever.

  • Superb track from a great album.

  • powerful singer. Good video

  • Gino at his best! This album is a must have. "Putthe weight on my shoulders" is an enourmously emtional ballad. I enjoy listening to Gino more than viewing him. His visual antics are a bit much.

  • Gino at his best! This album is a must. "Put the weight on my shoulders" is enormously emotional ballad. But I enjoy hearing him more tha seeing him.

  • i love you GINO!!!!!!!!

  • Lord have mercy....mama can I have one of those for Christmas? Promise I'll be good....

  • I've followed this guy since 1974, own everything he ever wrote and played, saw him in concert every chance I got, and I have met him and talked to him a few times. He's truly, truly great! This song is my absolute favourite!

  • Is my favourite too.

  • dang! this guy is so cool!!!!!!! so handsome :)

  • I just wanna run my fingers through his curly black hair.

  • Gino Vannelli - Nightwalker (1981)

    Gino Vannelli: vocals

    Joe Vannelli: keyboards

    Brad Cole: piano

    Mike Miller: guitars

    Neil Stubenhaus: bass

    Vinnie Colaiuta: drums

  • GINO GRAN VOCALISTA,COMPOSITOR,PERCUSSIONISTA Y POETA JUNTO CON SUS HERMANOS,ROSS Y JOE EXCEPCIONAL TECLISTA E INGENIERO DE SONIDO ,PUBLICARON SUS MAGNIFICOS PRIMEROS 7.LPs ENTRE LOS AÑOS 70 Y 80 VARIANDO SU ESTILO EN EL 8.Lp HACIA El POP Y El JAZZ. SUS ULTIMAS COMPOSICIONES. SE ACERCAN MAS HACIA LA LIRICA, UNA PRUEBA DE SU MUSICA ES ESTE PODEROSO TEMAZO- NIGHT WALKER-DE SU 7. Y BUENISIMO LP

  • BOY, does this song take me back.... Gino tapped into one of them "collective subconscious" deals with this one, 'cause I SWEAR he was singing about me circa age 19.

There is one other track on this album that just WASTES me: "Sally."

  • Ohhhhhh the intensity and emotion in Gino's voice! It's like he's crying out to you!

  • I notice some are leaving multiple comments. I know the feeling. When you like a song. You like it and it deserves multiple comments!

  • And I felt like I was the only one on here making too many comments about one video. Thanks for the word-up.

  • your comment deserves to be comment upon! Great comment I might add! Spectacular....

  • Wow, this album has some song that give me chills. What a dude. Inspirational soul.

  • hmm, I really do love this song actually. can u tell me what year it's from? :)

  • It's from "Night walker"CD 1981.

  • It was 1981.

  • This is the period that I liked Gino the best. He was very inventive and inspiring. I saw him in 1975 in Berkeley, CA and I haven't forgot that concert since. His best album for me was and still is, Storm At Sunup.

  • Great song and video. Gino is sooooo amazing. A dream come true.

  • great music...he,s a wanker

  • This is the only true kind of music

  • Try looking up "West Coast" or AOR mostly from 1975 to 1985. It is is the best and Gino is definitely a West Coast artist.

  • Someone once told me that beauty fades - but not in Gino's case: still handsome and stellar voice!

  • Ooh la la. That man! Those eyes, that voice, those moves, he's put a spell on me. Gino is truly heaven on earth.

  • Ooh la la, Gino is simply heaven on earth! Those eyes, that voice, those moves, he's put a spell on me! I'll never get enough of Gino.

  • rock on Gino, you are the best

  • Gino Vannelli's "Night Walker" is my cure for insomnia. If I can't sleep at night, I can just watch this video on YouTube. Please don't remove it!

I'm beggin you PLEASE!!!!! It's such a great song!

    snootzie78--GINOGIRL4EVER

  • We can hear God on drums, Vinnie Colaiuta, but it's not him on this clip, great song and AWESOME album.

  • It is not the amazing Vinnie Colaiuta - it is the fantastic "Danny Carrey" who playes the drums on the brother to brother and nightwalker album !! He deserves a lot (most) of credit for the overall feel of these two albums...

  • Wrong. Mark Craney played drums on the Brother To Brother album and Vinnie Colaiuta played drums on Nightwalker. Mark Craney passed away some time ago from diabetes. Vinnie spoke of the Nightwalker album with limited enthusiasm because Gino was incessant about receoring so many "takes" and editing the pieces together in post.

  • So are you saying..... that most of the "drum takes" were "spliced" together to make one complete song.....,? that they are not one particular"drum take performance" by Vinnie. Each track on the album was edited as a result

of Colaiuta Playing a "number" of "live" takes

for each tune, and then dissected to construct

one complete drum track!! Is that correct..

Steverinosiciliano!! If Vannelli did that to

    Vinnie's playing... that's a shame!!!

  • Excuse me but Daney Carey never played on those 2 albums. You are misinformed as usual. Typical Tool fan! It was incredible Vinnie Colaiuta on "Nightwalker", and one and only Mark Craney on "Brother to Brother". Don't even mention that "hack" with those 2 legendary drummers. Much to your dislike Craney and Colaiuta are on a whole different level.

  • One of my real fave songs of all times!!! The perfect production, for a perfect song, from one of the most talented men on earth : Gino... forever!

  • hard to believe that a guy with such looks can write such a music. Onvoorstelbaar. listen to "the warsuite" on "gist of the gemini" my alltime favorite

  • What nobody seems to note is the sublime musical expertise in all departments from the singing to the last superb drumbeat!! forget the hair the moves whatever! what we get here is class from the first beat to the last, there has been nothing like this since. This is a classic moment in musical history.
