  • Good that someone finally critize the swedish state-owned tv....it produces a huge array of crap and collects a tax from the tv-lookers called tv-licens and also calls itself "public-choice" to hide that its is a soviet style monolith.

  • @Timpetot FTW! :DD

  • It is not state TV. The whole system with SVT is to have a NON STATE TV, were the citizens pay a licence to a public service company that no company or politician party have any control over what so ever.

Every other TV and radio channel is 100% controlled by Companies and politics, depending on the owner. The Swedish people own SVT and fund it.

  • att svt är vänster vridet är allmänt kännt.

  • "a hidden democracy" :) What the heck is hidden democracy?

  • @ArmenOfTheNorth Hard to decipher this socialist language. They've invented concepts such as "people's democracy", "people's republic" etc. I guess they acknowledge that it's not what we call democracy, but instead something "better".

  • Leve Fidel Castro!! Leve socialismen i Sverige!!

  • it only seems logical that if you receive 0.5 billion in stolen money from the state, that you make a lot of programs that are in favor of that big state and support them taking money from the tax slaves.

  • @KC101X

I wrote: "Of course it's the same thing. Private persons are not subjective beings."

It should be "...not objective beings." instead of "...not subjective beings." an honest mistake, my bad.

I don't know if that error affected your opinion to my reply to your comment but to call me a "liar and a complete joke" the joke is on you!

  • you have a point in most of the things you bring up, but all exaggerated. comparing SVT and FOX, hahahaha, what a joke!

  • @KC101X

Of course it's the same thing. Private persons are not subjective beings. That's why we have elections for ppl who want to impose their beliefs and interests. We don't stop being and believe in our political orientation just because an election has ended. Everyone has their own agenda for whatever reason, not only politicians but also private ppl.

  • In Sweden not many people like USA, we do not hate you or your people, with do really not like you way of life, they why you think or believes!

In USA you have atwo-party system and almost all other parties have No power in the nation, and according to you Socialism is all Evil and that it doesent work, in Sweden we have the vision that "All ideology's work, as long as the people work on it" And thats finnal!

  • SVT does not make a lot of left-wing propaganda, and if they do then FOX news is so so much worse. I saw a clip from fox news were they said that the swedish goverment had told obama that socialism doesn't work, which is bullshit.

  • You do know that Svt isn't owned by the state, but by an independent foundation who's goal is to serve the public, hence the name public service.

The material of svt, sr, ur and the other public service companys are not controlled by the state and because they strive for this independence we have the TV-fee, I just wanted to say that svt, sr and ur are in no way in collusion with eatchother, other than emergency brodcasts.

  • @BitchezInThaHoodz The board of directors of SVT is directly appointed by the sitting Government, hence making it state TV. And since the fee isn't optional, it's a tax. The public service media in the USA on the other hand is voluntarily funded, and not controlled by the state.

  • Great work! I'm also Swedish and it's quite embarrasing that our public television is still showing anti american propaganda. The news are so predictable - Israel and the US are always the bad guys. Talk about biased news! I think the majority of the Swedish people are pro US but the left wing journalists who got fooled by the Maoist movement in the 60's are still trying to make their world view make sense.

  • As there is leftist propaganda there's also rightist propaganda. This video is one of the rightist propaganda. You may not want to see it this way, that's is a choice you made because you've been affected by something or some type of ppl that affected you way of thinking probably in the cover of anonymity. If we swedes only had the balls to take a serious and pragmatic discussion when issues arises we wouldn't need to have the left- and rigthist propag. and the interests for it would be minimum

  • Bry dig inte om idioterna som kommenterar din engelska. Det låter bra!

  • I am not certain why people are critical of your english, seems good to me ;)

State funded media is almost always biased in favor of the State. They don't bite the hand that feeds them.

Supporting Che and Castro is deplorable, will they be singing praise to Stalin and Mao next?

  • kan han prata engelska eller inte??? lol

  • You know the words and the grammar, but you fail at pronouncing them correctly. Fix that and this movie will be good. I would imagine evening courses up to 4 times a month for a year would fix the problem. ;D

  • What isn't pronounced correctly? For some reason I've had fellow Swedes complain about the pronounciation, but native English-speakers find nothing wrong with it. I'm pretty sure there isn't anything that's mispronounced.

  • It's the thing with the dialect. When some people speak english you can "hear" they're swedish because they're not quite pronouncing the words correctly, or they are but their dialect makes a small distortion in the sound. It isn't that I don't understand you, it's that your words sound almost a bit stale. But with training I'd believe it will become smoother with time.

  • So that's my voice then, not my pronounciation.

  • Yeah, I wasn't sure how to explain earlier so that's why I said pronounciation. Oh well. You got me now anyway.

  • @AnonNov We're swedes, we don't want to be fully ameracanised. Sorry.

  • You sound like a danish person who tries to speak swedish. It's because you read the letters what they sound like in your native language instead of how they really is pronounced. English ppl doesn't care how you are pronouncing as long as they understand you (most enlish ppl only speaks 1 language). Your accent is no different than the brittish, austrailian or jamaican dialect. Count the alphabet in english and you hopefully will hear the difference for you to correct. PS. HATE the Swe accent!

  • @HammarnUT im English and now living in Sweden and your English is fine

  • @MrMorriz1 Nothing wrong with the pronouncing but you can immediately tell that there is a very heavy Swedish accent. The videos are great, this is just an observation about the accent that I would recognize anywhere.

  • Bad english, but a good message.

  • This is all true, and extremely embarassing.
