This is a Dawn unit. I am with Dawn in fact. Take a look through some of the other videos and you will get a good feel for how this unit works. Typical operating depth will be 3-6 inches. Thanks for being interested. I would like to see more people getting into spraying a cover crop field with roundup in narrow stripes then strip tilling into those areas and trying to keep a living cover crop between corn rows. At least until it gets shaded out.
It was sprayed but it had not died. I am interested in the use of crimping rollers in corn stalks to make it break down and to pin the residue to the ground so it doesnt blow.
So the idea is to only till the planting rows? I've read good things about the crimpers--weed supression, etc.
