  • Music was surprisingly suiting, nice choice :)

  • this video gives me the trill

  • You should try Orbiter 2010, if you think mach 13 is fast then mach 23 will blow your mind.

  • x-plane 9...so realistic it forgot jet engines don't work outside of the atmosphere lol

  • @dereklsept Lol, Actually Derek, it uses 2 Gas Core Nuclear Fission Engines that were developed years ago, they don't need atmoshpere to function.. The other 6 engines are the same as the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and they do quit around 80,000 AGL. Nice channel you have, I just might have to sub! I listen to air to air refuel ops all the time here in Kentucky on 295.400 MHz. It's cool that you have video of refueling ops!

  • @Starbuckin

There is a 1954 Car Life mag that has the reactor powere automoblie taking off like a Moller skycar. That was an electric heat exchanger unit. There is the X space shuttle flying as well still supposily.

  • i beg to differ... kedw (edwards airforse bace) has the worlds longest runway

  • @skimaster12 Yes you are correct, it is NOW. This is early 80's scenery designed by (oops I can't remember the names now) that I downloaded. Area 51's WAS the longest runway in the world.

  • @Starbuckin Ok gottcha

  • I want one irl. Make it happen scientists.

  • Nice.

  • What is the name is this aircraft?

  • Wow! That is the most fastest ship I've ever seen! Over 9,000FT!

    Nice music.

Reply to this question : What name is this aircraft called? I really want to know.

  • @FastMacPro27 Thanks! This is the SA Scout/Interceptor. I'm sending you a new HD vid of it and it includes a link to the channel of the creator, Roy Scharf!

  • what aircraft is this

  • U should have gone HD D:

  • @superotherguy1 Yeah, I WISH! LOL! I think it's a pretty good vid though, even with my limited equipment and software. If I could make a vid like this in HD it would definitely have ALOT more hits!:)

  • @Starbuckin And I must say the music really adds to it.

  • can you get a sr71 blackbird or u2 spy plane on X-Plane 9?

  • @GamerFlux not the u2 but the sr-71 is a default plane in x-plane 9! And the SR-71 is much better than the U2, too.

If you like high speed travel in flight simulators, x plane 9 comes with a aircraft called "x-30" which can go mach 30, though it hasn't been built in real life. The SR-71 goes Mach 3.

  • @GamerFlux only the sr-71 is in x plane 9

  • So it uses solid fuel for the engines? If not how do the engines breathe above 70,000 feet?

  • @seekingelite As I understand they are Fusion Engines, something that's WAY beyond our current technology. I take off with them on, even though you're not supposed to, to make it look more dramatic (MUCH faster takeoff than normal). That's according to the readme.txt file that came with the downloaded plane,

They produce toxic exaust that is not supposed to be used unless out of the atmosphere. The six other jet engines are to be used ONLY at takeoff and they DO quit around 80,000 AGL.

  • @Starbuckin Actually, they are based on old technology. Those are nuclear fission engines. Specifically Gas Core Fission engines, they were designed by the Russians years ago. Even better than our NERVA nuclear engines that we built and tested.

I was the one that designed that plane for xplane. I was surprised to see it on youtube getting some publicity, lol. Nice video Starbuckin, and thanks for the video. If you have any suggestions for it let me know.

  • @seekingelite

Actually the rocket engines are liquid fueled nuclear fission gas core engines, designed by the Russians decades ago. The 6 jet engines are the exact same engines used on the Joint Strike Fighter

  • I like X-plane more, but space looks a bit cooler in FSX

  • nice plane dude

  • Is this FAA approved version of X plane? The standard home version of it isnt FAA approved, fact that many x plane fans dont know.

  • @Pvjinflight No, this is the home version only. There's not much difference between the two versions. Ask a real pilot who's flown both. P.S., if you like this vid, check out the Scout in a dogfight!

  • @Starbuckin Yes maybe, but its still wrong to say that x plane home version is FAA approved when its not.

    Nice vid.

  • awesome! im totally subscribing!

  • Lol!

  • didnt kno jason bourne flew jets haha

  • Thanks! Be sure to see the 2nd vid of me in a dogfight with it that I uploaded about a few days ago!

  • I like the video; I'm searching for this plane as we speak!

  • good video but why didnt you raise the landing gear lol

  • nice vid, good music!5/5

but you recieve a plugin with the simulator to film x-plane, you don't need to film your srceen anymore! good luck!
