Heath Ledger dedicated so much to this movie. He really did steal the show. He is a perfect example of someone who was much more famous in death than he ever was in life. I'm just glad he was able to show his true talent here.

Batman Begins was an underrated masterpiece that singlehandedly revived my faith in the superhero-movie genre (I didn't get around to seeing the film until after The Dark Knight came out in theatres).
The Dark Knight somehow managed to improve on an already wonderful film. I'm definitely looking forward to a third movie.
One of the great things about this and the other 2 trailers that were released with this film is that they don't hint at what's going on in the story. All of the full trailers are teaser trailers, and that is almost unheard of these days. 95% of trailers basically reveal most of their plot, story set-up, etc. so the audience knows pretty much what to expect...and Nolan refused to do that. I give him props for doing that, and it made the actual story all that more interesting in the end.
This trailer never gets old. I remember being on pins and needles waiting for the trailer to hit the internet... and when it finally did I must have watched it a million times. So frakking amazing.
Heath Ledger has made this film a classic, but because of his demise this leads to it being impossible to create a sequel with the Joker featured. But it's impossible to create a sequel to TDK without the Joker. NOBODY can match Heath.

Batman Begins was an underrated masterpiece that singlehandedly revived my faith in the superhero-movie genre (I didn't get around to seeing the film until after The Dark Knight came out in theatres).
The Dark Knight somehow managed to improve on an already wonderful film. I'm definitely looking forward to a third movie.

One of the great things about this and the other 2 trailers that were released with this film is that they don't hint at what's going on in the story. All of the full trailers are teaser trailers, and that is almost unheard of these days. 95% of trailers basically reveal most of their plot, story set-up, etc. so the audience knows pretty much what to expect...and Nolan refused to do that. I give him props for doing that, and it made the actual story all that more interesting in the end.

Heath Ledger has made this film a classic, but because of his demise this leads to it being impossible to create a sequel with the Joker featured. But it's impossible to create a sequel to TDK without the Joker. NOBODY can match Heath.
