@philobiology Well I think the problem here is your (and others) perception of when in the past. We are not talking about the Renaissance or the Age of Enlightenment. Freemasonry was "ancient" by that time according to the Regius Poem (written in the early 1300s). It is during the Middle Ages, when there were few who could read or write (beyond the Church and Nobility) and there was little to no philosophy beyond the Bible. Those who rejected the Bible had nothing to very little to work on.

How is it that these so called average people, who all know about these plans within Masonry to take over the world? Something that us Regular Masons don't know, I mean really, between trying to plan fund raiser's, for our charities, maybe we're missing it. I don't think so, I think a lot of people just have too much time on their hands, maybe they should get out and do some community Service, and see if they want to take over the world.

@mosaicmaster1 Forgive me, I was using a public computer and some infant mostve done that, well the reason is simple, the core belief of Masonery is the belief of a Single Deity, it could be God, Allah, Jehovah. It really doesnt matter, you must have a belief. Infact, the Eye on top of the Pyramid in the dollar really is a masonic symbol, it represents the belifef of masonry that us masons must believe in a God of some sort, so the Eye is necessarily God, But any God of any religion!

@mosaicmaster1 I highly doubt Morsaw10000 is a Mason. Why cant Athiest be Freemason? It goes back to early Freemasonry and Athiesm. The first Aethiests were by in far immoral, dishonorable, and wholly selfish. Athiesm also contradicts Masonic philosophy of a spiritual brotherhood of mankind under the fatherhood of our Creator (no matter how your belief is).

I seriously question that you are an Athiest (you do not believe in a higher spirit, spirituality, Karma, or anything beyond yourself?). Excuse me, but there is no record of all atheists being immoral, dishonorable and wholly selfish. Many atheists from the past were more likely philosophers and then scientists. Yes, some might be, but not all as there is no record of it. Not likely, atheism doesn't contradict nothing of that. Atheists have a creator, and it's Nature itself.

@philobiology Well I think the problem here is your (and others) perception of when in the past. We are not talking about the Renaissance or the Age of Enlightenment. Freemasonry was "ancient" by that time according to the Regius Poem (written in the early 1300s). It is during the Middle Ages, when there were few who could read or write (beyond the Church and Nobility) and there was little to no philosophy beyond the Bible. Those who rejected the Bible had nothing to very little to work on.

@BeukendaalMason I know Freemasonry is very ancient, and so is Rosicrucianism(which some say is way older than Freemasonry). I know, they are called the Dark ages for a reason. :)

@philobiology Very little was written during that time, which would make any philosophies at the time difficult to spread. The early philosophers and scientists were actually men of religion (Galileo, Michelangelo, De Vinci, Mendel, and others) and later most were still men of religion (Columbus, Voltaire, Jefferson, Newton) although some had "disagreements" with the "established churches" and their dogma. These men of religion, as Einstein put it, "wanted to know what God was thinking".

1. Try spelling plurals with "s"s instead of "z"s. You might be taken a little more seriously, for anything.
2. Ask questions; we're not afraid to answer them. Even if it's an answer you don't like, I can assure you that at least from me, it will be answered truthfully to the best of my knowledge.

I would suggest YOU look up Crowley. You will find that he WASNT a Mason. He purchased the clothes and badges but never went through any degrees, attended any meetings, or knew any Masons. All of the "most evil men" you talk about are not Masons, just wild claims by people who have never done any research. Real Masons are men like Roy Rogers, Theodore Roosevelt, Washington, Paul Revere, WEB DuBois and many other Brothers who work each day to help their communities.
