  • this song is way too cheesy but i have to admit it makes me smile and i love it

  • Isn't the finest question you would ask someonen this one:

    "How do you do ,buddy?"

Life is ever-changing ,but beautiful humanity never is to be changed.

    Never!

    Bernard

  • 1972 was the best time of Rock Pop Life aso

I`m so happy wheni hear that. Thanks for uploading :))

  • "Hey that's what I'm livin' for!".

  • IT'S AMAZING HOW A SONG LIKE THIS MAKES YOU REMEMBER THINGS OF YOUTH YOU HAVEN'T THOUGHT OF FOR YEARS!

  • Love this song. I feel do gay admitti it though

  • I want to find Mamy blue singing by Moot & Mc Neal, do you have it ? thanks

  • My very first single i´d bought!

Played it untill my parents forbid me to play it anymore, because after 3 weeks playing it nonstop before and after schooltime, they want to hear something else.

I still love it very much!!

  • BELLISSIMA

  • Man, 12 years old, summer of 72. This was one of the hippest tunes to emerge off an American jukebox-or the radio for that matter.

  • classic puts me in good form

  • havent heard this since the 70's. reminds me of whgen i was a little boy, brings tears

  • @richardguitar1 same here...

  • Here I am back at this video after hearing it on the radio. I really do love this song and all of the other schmaltzy dreck and outright crap this era produced. I must admit, however, I am physically repulsed be "The Night Chicago Died (Paper Lace), and "Billy Don't Be A Hero" (Bo Donaldson) . "Run Joey Run" will not be on my playlist either.

  • The release of this song was somewhat of a miracle in 1972, with a bit more of an emphasis on the hook and vocal hamonies than was common at that time. And it's a great record. Love it!

  • Just now heard this song on the radio. Sounds as good as it did back then.

  • klasse erinnert mich an Kindheit ^^

Mochte das Mädel sooo leiden ^^

  • Maggie was just the cutest little thing. That is what the 70's girls looked like. How I miss those days and those cute gals. Great song as well.

  • @larrydh2 AMEN

  • Heard it on the radio yesterday, but didn't knew the name of the song/artist!

But now i found it! Thanks ;)..

  • @iT4d stick to your pokemon LOL

  • suscribanse a mi canal

  • It does nothing except make me smile and remember a great day in the life of pop music. RIP Mouth and keep on singing Maggie. You've made the world a better place.

  • @kellyhri I think there could be no better critique of a pop song than your words; "It does nothing except make me smile".

  • I grew up listening to this. I still like it.

  • Hmm i dont like it but i do respect other peoples other points i just prefer other types of sonds but this looked intering

  • Oldies,but always goodies!

  • I love it, this is what music is all about.

  • In Chile was a very popular song too, listening it I remember a tv show called

    Música Libre

  • Guter Song, aber mal wieder playback -.-

  • War 1972 der absolute Schlager-GAU...GUUUUUUUT!

  • Sängerin, nicht singerin, entschuldigung.

  • Die Singerin hat ein schön laecheln (woman singer has such a beautiful smile, fascinating.)

Kein Wunder dass dieser Song so popular ist gewesen. Sie haben ihn mit so viel Gefuehl gesungen.

(No wonder this song was so popular, it is song with such passion.)

Hoffe mein Deutsch ist verstaendlich :)

  • Maggie McNeal is simply georgeous

  • oh i love it since i was still a kit..

  • super!!

  • A.M. radio glory days!

  • The guy who keeps singing in the really nasal voice at the end is really funny

  • parece musica bololo ué sera kkkkkkkkkkkkkk essa musica é ingraçada eo cara lá parece um papai noel ripi

  • I had the Dutch radio service of Radio North Sea International on during the day during 1972 and this was often played, together with other classics from Bonnie St Clair, Earth & Fire, Alex Harvey (not the Glaswegian!) and The Buoys.

I think it was a refreshing change from a lot of the music churned out from the UK throughout 1972-74.

'Man of Action' (RNI or Veronica, was it?) by Les Reed after the midday news and weather always sticks in my mind.

  • Memories!..

  • Hollands glorie !!!

  • Oh my good, talk about memories. I have played this a hundred times I bet in the last week. What a song and Mouth and McNeal look like they had such a ball doing it. And it goes without saying, they did it well. Love it!

  • ah, 1972 . . . those were the days! Great video of a great song from a great time.

  • howdoyoudo??????????????????????????????? :p

  • If it was possible to fall in love with a girls voice then I did with this song in 192. I never saw the actual video until many years later. I wasn't disappointed!

  • they looked very happy doing this video..i often wondered if its true..that they were really in love with each other...just like they were before..

  • Very cool video.

    Love the song.

  • Thanks for upload. I try to find this song for 20 years. :) really happy to listen it again.

  • 1972 was a great year for great pop.

  • @alandhopewell the entire 70s is without equal!!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I just noticed, at the very end, there is someone in the audience singing along & it sounds really funny, like a frog... =P

  • I feel fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Aside from that, I looooooove this song, I played it over & over today...reminds me of my childhood :)

  • I turned 20 years old in 1972 and even though my friends and I were listening to Led Zepplin, Beatles,etc..Whenever I was in the car myself I would switch to AM radio hoping to hear this song!! Ha ha ha, I never would admit it back then but I am no longer ashamed to say it's a great feel good song!!! :) GREAT memories for me! Thanks for posting it!

  • What's with the violin?

  • Why aren't you bringing a violin along wherever you go?

  • I don't know. I guess you have me there!

  • A Danish version "Hvis jeg var dig" (If I were you) , was sung by Ulla Pia, who represented Denmark in the ESC of 1966.

  • Amazing Voice!!! its like so Proud!!!

  • Great song. Always cheers me up. :)

  • great song. i remember the song in the usa back in 1972 when i was in 2nd grade.

  • Love this song ! It was popular here in the U.S. also. One thing is for sure --once you hear this song , it`s hard to forget ! Very cute and catchy lyrics !

  • God I was only 8 but have a sister who was 18 then, she bought the single and I used to sing to it not even knowing english then, cause I'm Austrian, good old memories!

  • I have been trying to buy this song on Itunes for a while and found it here. Reminds me of times when life was good and happy. Makes me long for those days. What a sweet song.

  • First single I ever bought....

  • i to was 11 years old in 72 and when i first seen video thought mouth looked like tommy chong but the song takes us back to our youth

  • Such a silly simple melody from so many years ago AND yet still so very singable and suggestable.

  • Super hit

  • yo i love this song the spanish and engish version ! nanana!!!

  • Dutch bands were also popular in my native South Africa in the 1970s. Oddly though, Mouth & MacNeal weren't hits (probably something political), but several M&M hits were covered by SA artists. This was covered by a local band, "The Rising Sons", and "Hello-A" was covered by local singers Sharon Tandy & Billy Forrest. I like M&M's versions MUCH MUCH better!

  • Hmmmm...I think I was TWELVE when this song came out! And if I'm not mistaken, this was on the RADIO in Chicago in the AUTUMN of 1972! But...I always thought these guys (well, guy and girl!) were...BLACK!!! Good grief, a long held fallacy (37 years!!) has just been SHATTERED!

  • ha i never heard a black man have a voice like that guy

  • eschie2000, super video on mouth & mcneal how do you do- i grew up on 60's & 70's music. very good job- do you have norman greenbaum's spirit in the sky with him singing it

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I was 14 when this song came out. It brings back such good memories of a time in my life when I was truly happy.

I loved this song the moment I heard it and I still do! Rob

  • Rob, I was 15 when this song came out and I'm 51. And you were 14?

  • Cool !

  • Great chemistry! Peace

  • I heard this song when i was 7, brings back memories when i hear it. It was #8 in July 1972. RIP Big Mouth Willem Duyn who died in Dec 4th 2004 age 67.

  • Mouth and Macneil are great! this musik is imortal.I have locked very long for it, until i fond again them. Damnke to those they put here!

  • tolles video was will man mehr; hau du ju du -- hau i di a ^^

  • If you look between 2;53 and 2;57 the male singer has a small mouth and the female singer has a big mouth. they should be called Mouth and Mcbigger mouth..

  • Right on, that's too funny.

  • I watch this vid. at least 5x aweek and can`t help but notice that the audience seems totally at loss as to what is being sang --This song was done in 2 languages --right ? LOVE LOVE this tune....

  • I do like this version but I prefer the original version when they were Die WIndows. 5*****

  • Actually this is the original song. "Die Windows" only covered this song a few month after the original release by Mouth & McNeal.

  • I heard the Windows version first after my brother brought the record with him when he came from Germany. It wasn't until quite some time later that I heard the Mouth & McNeal version here in the U.S. That's why I thought the Windows version was first. Thanks for clearing that up.

  • at a party there was a jumpstyle remix of this

xP this version's soo much better!!

  • A happy song to listen to before bedtime. It keeps a relaxing tune in my head! Maybe it`s just me ---LOL...

  • This song is great.

  • Look up Cute in the dictionary and you get a picture of her.

  • had this on a tape for 38 years didnt know who it was
