Have to admit, hard hitting journalism... Confronting a guy that was President 20 years before you were born and has absolutely nothing current or relevant to add.. Carter is not a source that you can hang any hat on, he left office with 23% inflation, 14% unemployment, interest rates at 12-17%, a gas shortage, Iran hostages and a botched rescue attempt. Thank God for this country, Reagan arrived, lets hope theres another Reagan out there soon.

Well, I do agree that our involvement with Bin Laden to drive out soviets was the right move. They would control a huge amount of oil cause they wouldn't have stopped in Afganistan. A "truther", as opposed to someone who is interested in what actually happened, is someone who avoids the most obvious facts and chooses to concentrate on the most farfetched, outlandish explanations for events. For example: If the 9/11 was perpetrated by the government, a ridiculous number of people would have had to been in on it - not just the White House, but the CIA, members of Congress, airport security, etc. And why would they use Saudis if the goal was to attack Iraq. You can't just say you believe the attacks were perpetrated by our government because there are unanswered questions about the attacks. One must consider the totality of known facts, as well as what can be reasonably inferred from known facts. The Truthers don't make a reasonable case for a government plot. Moreover, they don't even offer an affirmative theory of what happened. This is why they will never be convinced they are wrong.

Actually, I think he could hear the questions very well. In case you didn't notice, the first questions were asked to him roughly 3 to 5 feet away. He answered those questions very cleary.
