so all QVC/HSN baseballs ted williams joe d willie mays hank arron & mickey mantle baseball & 8"x10" picture signed /w letters of auth. are fake- where are the lawsuits
Amazing what people will do to try and exploit Mantles autograph to try and sell it for more money. I have 3 seperate items signed by him in person maybe i can pull the same crap and claim it might be the last item signed. NOT! Wish there were more collectors out there today like myself and others and not half twits trying to make big money off something as absurd as this claim.
It's really not a big deal, we were only stating a fact. The fact is the ball was signed in Atlantic City with documentation and stamping. Mickey did one more show the next day and that was it for him as far as PUBLIC signings. Then we all know he passed away just months later.
First off this isn't a attack or a dig on you. I have been a huge collector for nearly 3 decades and of course i know you gotta have dealers to keep the hobby around. If its not a big deal as you claim then why do you have JSA there and getting it authenticated then and saying its one of the last known Mantle signatures done in public for? If it wasn't for more money you would put it under a table or a case and sell it as just another Mickey Mantle autgraphed ball.
JSA was in the store all day performing their services to the public. We have them 3 or 4 times a year. They were the ones who found this interesting, we just recorded and posted it. In addition the ball was beautifully signed compared to 2 dozen other Mantle balls that were in our showcase. Our viewers find this kind of information interesting. JSA was not there for just that ball
Mr Mint? JSA did not buy the ball, just authenticated it. They set up a booth and people bring in their stuff to have authenticated. This is a paid service. We see a lot of interesting stuff all day long on those days. The last time they were here, a customer brought in a 1927 Signed New York Yankees Baseball including the Mayor - Awesome piece!
I am a Big Mickey fan myself. I have several things signed from him IN-Person. But Pleeeze,How can anyone really think they have one of the last baseballs the Mick signed.Especially from Mayof 2005. I was there at the LAST show he was at. Get REAL Spence.....
yestereday i busted open a 11 pack box and i got nothing that good except for a alex gordon rookie brandon morrow gold rookie 868/2007 and i ordered the giants team set and a jim thome tell me if that appeals to you doc

woopy do! The most overrated player in history,
4 seasons with 100+ RBIs and he batted 3/4 for the Yankees for 18 years. His sigs are common as dirt...
