i lived here until i was 8 year old. now im 24 happily living in melbourne australia. but i miss dushanbe and most of all shashlic (that might not be how you say it)
The civil war may be over, but there are unseen wars still happening in Tajikistan. The government is corrupt and takes away anything that is worth any value. I personally know a guy who used to own an auto body shop, but now, the president's nephew owns it. Unless you're related to somebody in power, you can't make a normal living for yourself without someone trying to take it away from you. The government should be ashamed of themselves, especially mayor Uboydulloev of Dushanbe
I'm tajik from Samarkand and looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove Tajikistan. I feel its my country too. Best wishes to all Tajiks!

i think this country is sth i can`t even imagine. Seems so wild and barbarian, uncivilized, poor..and people frightened and laid back....
Buildings are typical socialistic.HUUUGE and ugly.
But the initial song is beautiful, unbelievably.
