  • Hey, I was just wondering, do you think huge retro flywheels would fit on my evo?

  • @ProsteticHeart

You should be just fine as far as clearance, but the practicality of those wheels hold you back.

  • @MotionBoardshop any other wheels you recommend?

  • @ProsteticHeart

76mm 78a Flywheels would be radtastic

  • @MotionBoardshop thanks amillion

  • hey i was wondering what type of board i should get? i want one that has drop through trucks and is able to do tricks, can slide a little bit and still prety good for cruzing and smaller hills? thats not like over $300 if possible

  • But still stable for dh when I want to.

  • Hey sorry I was thinking about actually getting a board not as much for downhill and for free riding and one for learning to slide and would the trucks wheels bearing be the same? Thanks

  • And what trucks and wheels would you recommend for the board you recommended for me. Thanks

I am 114 pounds and Im a teenager so going to be gaining more weight and I wanted a good longboard to help me find what I like I think downhill looks awesome. • @MotionBoardshop Im looking to get into longboarding and am strongly leaning toward Rayne. I am looking at the Demonseed Longtreks edition in particular, what can you tell me about the board as far as durability or pros/cons. I am aware it is mostly a dh board but would it be any good for carving or pumping at all? Lastly, I have done quite a bit of research but dont know much about the single forked nose, can this board be ridden both ways and whats the purpose of this? Thanks!

  • whould the rayne hellcat go good with abec 11 classic freeriding 72mm 84a if i want to do tech dh??

  • okay lemme just run this by you guys, im thinking a comet voodoo asymmetrical, with either grizzlys, or paris 195's with venom dh bushings, then i could use some help on wheels. gimme your best reccomendation for decent hills, somewhat technical, yet still want some decent freeride out of it. i have some s9 nineballs which are all right, not the best though.

  • Does anyone know the gray board below the avenger?

  • what do u think bout the board DREGS PARADOX

  • *PLEASE RESPOND* im 110 and about5 1/2 feet. i want either a drop through or topmount. i wanna be able to slide good on it and bomb some hills. what should i get?

  • hey lildrummerboy again... i like the killswitch to... is it stable??? i know its a dh board... but is the stability very noticeable when compared to something like an evo??? of coarse the evo will be more stable but will it be noticeable at like 45-50 mph?

  • ok so i want to get a good downhill board... you guys did not mention the rayne demonseed which was what i was looking at... does that mean i would be better off with something else??? if so what board would be best? i am 5'8 or 5'9 but i tend to have a kind of wide stance... help please

  • What deck and trucks to do you have?

  • The ove glove is made of Kevlar and nomecs there for the firefly is an ove glove!!

  • that dueds board looks so awesome

  • I have a Landyachtz evo with bear 852's and Im thinking about getting a set of Abec 11 Centrax. I keep my trucks pretty tight for downhill. Is there any possibility for wheelbite? If so, which wheel would you recomend for my setup?

  • @Sethm411

definately no chance of wheelbite even with really loose trucks.

  • hey im getting a rayne hellcat what trucks are best for this im thinking of getting bears

  • You guys need to edit the sound levels. Get rid of that lisp sound.

  • Is it worth to have a Killswitch Dropthru even if we have an Avenger or should I get a Nemesis (instead of the Killswitch) ? I plan to DH/Freeride and I'm 6' tall (I dont want something too small for me) ...

  • im 5 10 124lb looking for a cheap board about 36-41 inches long that can do a little bit of everything as a starter deck do you have any ideas? thx in advance

  • Is there anyway I can buy ur stickers, such a nice design, like ur boards <3.

  • ok so ive come to the conclusion that im getting the rayne nemesis. i want it set up for dh but also free rige i was thinking randal 42* 10in axle with venom dh bushings 90a on bottom and 85 or 87a on top. and otang inheat 75mm 83a purps. what do you think anything i should change. your advice is much appreciated

  • the one you said was your persanol board you said was stiff. i am 165 and 5'9. would that be a good board for me?

  • nice head fuck face

  • What's the purple board in the background?

  • hey how come no love for gravity boards???

Definitly really realiable at a good price

  • Hi i want to get a landyachtz drop speed. Im 190 will it flex too much

  • Hey Trevor, all the MotionBoardshop videos are great! I had a question. Im looking for a good deck for some serious downhill bombing, I want a board I can feel comfortable on at speeds around 63 MPH with some 42 randals and venom barrels probably 90a. Whats getting me is I don't know whether I would want a drop mount, top mount, drop deck, or what! I would be using the board for mainly downhill speed races. I would want to be able to predrift or drift any fast turns as well. any deck suggestions

  • i cant find insect boards anywere. how can i get a wasp? how much would it be?

  • Hey im going to order the drop speed of your site in a while and i need to know if i would get wheel bite with 180mm gunmetal double barrels

  • @originalskateny123

I would definitely be sure to run some smaller wheels on there. Something like a 66mm would work. In my opinion the best trucks for a drop speed are bear 852's.

  • @MotionBoardshop Thanks very much

  • I'm poor but i want one of your boards so badly. Can i have one? You have tons :D

  • if this shop was in my city, i would be the poorest man alive hahahaha. too much gnar in one place!!

  • whats that purple board on the right with the motion boardshop sticker on it?

  • i weight 250 lbs and am 6'2, would the DEMONSEED bend to much for me?????

  • @Volume1216

Nope! It'd be a perfect fit,

  • @MotionBoardshop alright thank you so much dude!

  • @MotionBoardshop one last question, since i am so big, i already have 8mm axles on my board, will they bend?

  • @MotionBoardshop Whats that gray board under the Avenger ?

  • @MotionBoardshop

funny story. my friend has a demonseed, so one day we got 5 people to stand on the platform (about 500 to 600 pounds). no flex.

  • whats that purple board on the right with the motion boardshop sticker on it?

  • hey trevor, nice video. i just have a quick question, where is insect? i cant find an insect board anywhere. i'd really like to pick up a firefly but i literally cant locate a single board.

  • @streetsurfer419

Insect has halted production for the year. No word for sure if they'll be coming back or not.

  • do u guys ship to Australia??

    and do u have Core/Independent Trucks - 215 - Black/Silver 186mm x 8mm

  • you guys need to make a store in socal!!! lol id much rather go to a store but you need one down here instead of just in WA

  • why don't you guys pick up original at your shop? That would be pretty sick!

  • Is the landyachtz drop speed a good board?

  • so with nanotubing... is it like indestructible? i mean. harder than diamond? are you planning on using it as combat shielding? lol. i actually do, as of now. own this board. and its great. (lightning bug)

  • what to you think of the landyachtz drop speed?

  • Really does sector 9 suck because I was thinking about buying the coconut off their cosmic series. Does it rally?

  • @thesprinkles2010

Here's a repost of the guy below you:

They definitely aren't on the same level of quality as companies such as Rayne, Landyachtz, Earthwing, etc. but they definitely don't suck. Sector 9's are great boards for beginners and getting people into the sport. As with a lot of companies, some boards are better than others and you just have to know which ones to get.

  • @thesprinkles2010 if its your first board then get one from them, nothing expencive like something between 120 to 200 dollars

  • does sector 9 really suck as much as people say??

not just for downhill but overall?

  • @braverya7x

  • @braverya7x they have like one decent dh deck. its called s9 race deck lol check it out

  • in the subsonic boards, what type of birch are they? baltic? thanks

  • hahaha awsome vid listen to how he says pre-drifting at 9:14

  • You guys should do a carving/cruising deck clinic

  • you look like Bruce Lee

What if Bruce Lee had a long board, then he could kick Chuck Noris's ass at 40 lol

  • @jonwilly2

Sick! I definitely haven't heard that before, but Bruce Lee kicks ass, so I'll take it as a compliment.

  • what are those wheels on the board at 5:20 and where can i get them?

  • please do a review on the nemisis and avenger

  • How's the landyatchz 925 can it DH and carve well ??

  • @23longboarding Funny, I just edited a video on the Nine to Five, and it will be live in a few minutes. Not the best DH but can be done. Freeride? the best!

  • wat are the purple boards ?

  • @jagger1416 DH3p made by Roger Bros.

  • i have a rayne demonseed with crail trucks. my setup right now is yellow eliminators on the bottom, and red venom barrels on the top, i was wondering what would be a better setup for DH. thanks.

  • hey, Im looking for a good first downhill longboard. I've been longboarding for a while now and i want to do some downhill but i just don't know what board to get. I would like it to be under $250 Im 15 years old 5'8 and 150 lbs.

  • how is the killswitch for free riding cause i realy realy want to get one but the landy 925 also seems realy sick

  • which board is best to slide and freeride??

  • @mrmonsterjude either the loaded dervish, or the updated version, the loaded tan tien

  • @TheCimosabi

What do you think about boards like th nemisis or a voodoo comet

  • @mrmonsterjude the nemesis is a good board but i would recommend the rayne vendetta

  • @TheCimosabi

    Why

  • @mrmonsterjude because it is a free ride board that is also good for light bombing but if you are just looking for a racing board i would go with the rayne nemesis, it slides and can handle freeride but is very good downhill

  • if i got an avenger what orangatang wheels should i get

  • @loadedlongboardlover are you looking for freeriding, sliding, racing. what

  • @TheCimosabi im new to down hill but im a carver and i love to slide soo i want a down hill slidey board i already have a dervish

  • sir,is the demonseed and nemesis good for carving?please help, thanks!

  • Hey , I've a Dervish, randal 180 ll, and i'm carving very well, but i want more speed with safe, how venom bushings i can use that maintain good carving also i can reach speeds near 40 - 50 km/h?

    Thanks!!

  • what setup should i get if i got the 09 avenger im new to down hill but i like to slide and carve

  • @loadedlongboardlover Sayshun trucks, earthwing superalls, bones reds, Venom bushings, Mobo Hardware. Give us a call if you have any questions

    206 372 5268

  • @MotionBoardshop you said sayshun trucks. im kinda on a budget would any other trucks be good i dont have 300 $ for trucks

  • @loadedlongboardlover

Haha, understandable. We were stoked on our demo set and hawking out recommendations. For a beginner I'd go for a set of the new Bear 840's, they are rad!

  • @ItchyKoala2007

There really is only one option: The Rayne Demonseed!

  • what are those purple boards on the right stand? :)

  • @beetmash

    Rogerbros DH36 and 3-piece.

  • I'm thinking about an Avenger. What do you think are the pros/cons to the W Concave. Thinking about getting the 08 one you guys have but if the 09 is worth it I may spend the extra money.

  • @italianmobsta74

The W concave is AWESOME if you are bombing hills and are seeking a board that is more nimble with a more "locked in" feeling. If you like longer wheelbases and don't see yourself cornering at high speeds, then the '08 might be more suiting.

  • im looking for a new longboard and i hesitate between two landyachtz : the evo and the chinook. i want to do downhill as well as sliding but i want it stable to prevent speed whobbles and fast but still able to slide fast... my preference is the evo... wich one to choose ??

  • @soldierpookie they are pretty much the same, the evo will be more stable because it has more of a deep tub concave but the chinook doesnt have as big as a deep tub concave as an evo making it a little easier to slide but i would use the chinook

  • @TheCimosabi

The evo doesn't have deep tub concave and concave is totally unrelated to stability. No offense, just trying to help you out.

  • the chinook has a huge de wedge in the front witch will make it a good free ride board not as good as downhill as the evo.

the evo has a de wedge in the front but a normal wedge in the back so it is better for downhill.

  • @soldierpookie

It depends on how fast that "fast" is. If you are going faster than 35 mph or so I'd say go with an evo. If you are sticking to slower speeds than that, the Chinook is better for sliding.

  • @MotionBoardshop i wanna do speeds around 25 mph up to 35 and maybe 45 mph and whatever speeds my board will take me:D even if ill use to foul around and slide too so thanks guys ill go with the evo
