@highlanderdurp me eyes rolled at this debate, of COURSE god had nothing to do with it, the very idea that that has to be said, and that this argument even EXISTS is an affront to Beethoven.
You can taste the glory of beethoven in this piece; good God, there never has been nor will there ever be another pianist/composer like Ludwig van Beethoven.
@daytonmlivingston I actually consider Frederic Chopin #2 and Mozart #3, and to me it's really like splitting hairs when comparing those three; each of them had God given talent without question but Beethoven will always be my favorite.
I often listen to normal music or at least sometimes, but always if I hear that, it's like just so wunderful so deep, complex, it's just art !! I can't really describe it
hey guys who said i love metal but this is cool etc. i have news for u, u like real music classic and metal are music which are played by real people with real instruments not some computer-made shit. so don't be surprised by liking classic and metal together. thumbs up :D
Someone should finally perhibit comments in classical music videos...I am tired of reading the same bullshit over and over again...Btw dont remember if I mentioned it, but I am too a 2 years old metalhead that listens to classical music...
this music is so beautiful and wonderful. im 13 and even i cant get enough of it, yes i listen to chris brown and jessie j. but i'd prefer this anytime because people dont use autotune to make it. this is beautifull raw music <3
@mehrdadpazooki God created music we simply discovered it. and by the way what have you accomplished by not believing in god?. Beethoven Mozart and Bach were all believers in God.
@metallica13ish Not surprising. I believe Beethoven would've been a metalhead if he had been born in the 80s or so. His music is often pretty angry, in fact this piece is named "Tempest"
If/When I manage to build a time-traveling device, one of my first stops will be a performance by Beethoven himself to hear how his songs were truly meant to be played.
It's kinda sad that a lot of people always have to talk about bieber, people who pressed dislike, rappers etc. And I know that talk about them now too, but we should stop that. When someone dislikes a rap, the fans aren't ganna say; The two people that disliked are Beethoven fans!.
futher, the interpertation is awesome!. I like the tempo and the fact that you don't use so much staccato as others. Your recordings are, talking about sound quality and the amount of flaws, always perfect.
is it just me or does this sound a lot similar to Piano Sonata No. 26 in E flat major ('Les Adieux') Op. 81a by Jeno Jando. or do i just have a messed up file name on my computer?
Hello, can anybody please send me the notes for that? I played that piece and it's amazing, but I lost my sheets :P I would be pleased if anybody would send me them :)
@salvadorallende73 True, but Mr. Erez is the exception. His video performances (and CDs) are so superior, and his flawless interpretation and technique are what triggers appreciation for Beethoven's genius. If there's no outstanding pianist like Mr. Erez to bring out the genius in Beethoven, HOW would you know?
@Buldaner - It's much better that way in my opinion because you can appreciate how beautifully he plays every single note. Mr. Erez is the Master of the Masters.
@Buldaner , the tempo is allegretto, defined as moderately fast which implies slower than allegro. Therefore, Mr. Erez is playing it at the precise tempo. Because performers like to "show off" their speed, they play everything too fast. Our ears have been trained to hear most pieces, including this one, played too fast and incorrectly. This is the quintessential of excellence...
@DasRies Your request that people should stop talking about Bieber has put a comment about Beiber amongst the top rated comments where everyone will see it. Revel in the irony.
If you like this, you'll probably like some of his work on Bach like Siciliano BWV for piano and orchestra. I think I read he arranged it, or Invention 13 or Badinerie, Chopin Valse in C sharp minor Op. 64 No.2. The guy is just dangerous, or if you'll pardon the expression badass. There are a lot of great technical players around, but I listen to what I like.
@38219947 stop fucking talking about him in front of a real performance... just reading his name here disgraces this video and make the kid more famous
@tanksa100 I would rather listen to something that is not exactly perfect than a technically good rendition with no soul. @KevinDorner IT'S LIKE YOU SAY KEVIN It's all a matter of interpretation, and some think it's flawless. What flaws do you hear?
