What a beautiful looking Uke Grumps . The bike looks pretty beautiful as well . I am so sorry about the bang up .. I know you did everything you could to protect the kid.. I hope the bike isn't to much the worse for ware .. I ll give you my motor cycle war stories some time .. The one in Wales near a hill called the "Tumble" is the most spectacular !! Maybe a concertina to make it all better.. Ask your wife . Maybe not .Ah well . Feel better! Guy
Having been there several times myself I know that not being able to do the things you love even for a short time can be more painful than the injury itself. Luckily it's not permanent and the anticipation will make it all the sweeter when you get to play your new uke. Looking forward to hearing it! Hope you have a speedy recovery.
Oh man, that sucks! A new uke and you can't play it! Hope you're better soon. I've stopped riding my scooter to work since I got hit by a taxi last year and cracked some ribs. I guess we're both lucky we didn't break our necks, motorcykles and scooters are just too dangerous...

I played one out of a wall of other ukuleles that included Kamakas and G-strings and it was probably my favorite, other than a Kamaka 8-string :) Anywho, hope your recovery is swift. Do the PT! Malama pono.

Man that's harsh. Take your time in healing, brother. You'll have many hours to play that fine looking instrument.
I owned a Kawasaki 650 back in the day, but stopped riding because the streets were too full of bmx runts and old ladies in huge Chrysler Newports.
