i know a guy who works with Sony and he said hdd was better or as good as blu ray.He said it had quicker access times and the sound was better.Personally i dont care as long as there is only one format.However I think £20.00 per disk is a swindle

HD DVD is dead. They only have 1 1/2 studios support, Universal (witch is out of contract)and Paramount that is looking for a clause. It's ovbius that just have to wait a few months to watch Universal leaves HD DVD. Time says all, take a look to Warner. It is DONE, Blu-ray WON this format war. There's nothing they can do.
