i had capture latios in the same area and if you go inside and out on the house below the city above with a lvl. 20 pokemon with repel and alot of it you with latios or latias thats i had gotten both of them!!!!

Don't have Latios/Latias on your Pokedex?

Easy. Get Max Repels and do this same strategy with a level 20 - 39 pokemon as your lead.

Use the max repel, fiddle around in the grass for a little bit, go inside, and repeat.

I just got lucky and cought it after only going inside 3 times. :P

it work in ruby too . lol BUT when i use max repel it took me for more than 40min and it never appear once i let my repel go off and less than 30sec i caught 1 alr lol . wtf

@TouchedBySNSD The Pokemon in the front of your party was probably at a higher level than Latios. The repel makes it so Pokemon at a level lower than the Pokemon in the front of your party don't appear.

then maybe it will escape,so make him/her sleep or something like that

After this go to the Weather Institute near Fortree City to the left, Cross the bridge and the building is going to be there.. it's not that easy...weakening it to red is almost always required w/o masterball. usually on legendaries the timer balls are easier to catch it w/ than the ultra balls, but that won't be easy if your first pokemon dies and then latios/latias is able to flee. another thing, you'd have to use a pokemon on lvl 39 in order to have the best of luck. 40 and over and then max repel won't help you. it's probably best to save your masterball for latios/latias and use timer balls for rayquaza and others

@jabarilewiscuz Once you beat the pokemon league, you end up back in your room. When you go downstairs, the TV will report about a BZZT color pokmeon roaming hoenn. Your mother will as what color the TV said: red or blue. Choosing red means latias is now roaming hoenn. Blue means latios is roaming. Its sheer luck finding it the first time, but after you encounter it one you can track it like in the video. I just reccomend using a Master Ball.
