drugs.. heavy serious drugs... are an epidemic that spans all racial and economic backgrounds. i was raised in an upper-middle class unbroken home in an up scale neighborhood, and my sister at 22 developed a crack habit, left our home and family, became a prostitute, and was killed by her pimp/dealer at 24, and her body was dumped a few miles from our home. drug addicts need actual treatment.. not jailtime, and until that changes humans will continue to die.
