I'd hardly call it one of the best vids ever. Honestly, all we see is a ball of light. We don't get foreground, motion, no context to give it. Regardless of what it actuall was, all we see as viewers is a ball of light. Unfortunately, not much of a smoking gun.
I live in Bonsall myself, and I know the guy who made this tape. A woman down the road from me named Sharon Rowlands (seriously, look it up in Wikipedia) saw a UFO and got it on tape, it's now the 5th most important UFO evidence in the world. Bonsall is wierd and I'm so proud to live there.

This was taken in the same area in 2001. I wish Kiviat would come off of the footage already. Lately, he claims he doesn't know what footage people are referring to. I'd love to corner him and ask him about it.
I saw the saame object while going from Markeaton to Allestree along the A38. Perhaps its one of those balloon trips from ambergate getting blown off course? Or Rolls Royce in sinfn having a laugh testing something new?
On Bonfire night me and my sister were watching the fireworks and then there was this thing that looked like a balloon without the casket. We thought it was just a firework but it landed in our garden, still light. When we rushed to find out what it was, it just took off and it was last seen over Fulham Road, Mackworth, Derby. Has anyone else seen it?
Seems very realistic . The other day i could of swore i saw a UFO but after 10mins of filming and 2 hours of watching we realised it was a beam of light which originated in Wirksworth. The funny thing is that in the Ashbourne paper a woman said she saw a UFO on that night in the same direction so a beam of light on a cloud moving and hovering seemed just like a UFO , the truth is out there ??? who knows keep watching the sky dudes!!

hahaha it was a small homemade hot air balloon. It was reported in our local paper in Ripley, Derbys. The guy who launched it was highly amused.
