  • didnt she think how it made her look?

  • i am 13 and why can't music be like this, in my school they always play like black eyed peas and lamfo every friday why not carpenters?!

  • @K95369 U shud get your school to play some just hand over a cd or something, bitta carpenters and a bitta black eyed peas sounds good

  • It's sad watching this and seeing her obvious emaciated condition. We have to stop glorifying underweight female models. Starving is not sexy.

  • How is it nobody saw what was happening to her? The change in her is so drastic, it's painful to see it and yet everyone around her allowed it to continue. It just seems so heartless to let such a beauty and a talent wither away and not do something, anything, to try and help her. My heart aches for her even now.

  • @TheRealVenna I noticed how thin she was and she always covered up in heavy dresses to hide her thin body. She even dressed that way in the summer. Wearing long sleeved shirts and pants.

  • @TheRealVenna I agree. Did none of her family at least work on this issue after she died?

  • Such a tradgity.. Wow.. I hate seeing her so thin and ill.. But that beautiful voice.. I just wish she was here today. NO autotune needed

  • Any man would melt with Karens voice!

  • I hated to see Karen in this condition! God, How I loved her!

  • I miss you Karen carpenter!

  • @padude64 I cry every time she sings some sad songs. Makes me think of her around the time she passed on February 4 1983. I was in 8th grade then. I remember coming home from school and it was announced on the news. After that it was nonstop Carpenters songs on the radio. There were tributes to her on tv. Especially on the grammy's.

  • @padude64 Also you notice how she dressed in layers to cover her bony body? That's how she was at the time. She'd deny the problem in public.

  • @rsvy913688 when people starve themselves they also feel the cold most of the time so also wear lots of layors to keep warm as well as hide it.

  • I wish Richard would include this song on a compilation in the US without the segue into "Ticket To Ride"... as the original single was released

  • I love this song , jump in the car drop the top and roll out.

  • This is one of a handful of songs that I still ask myself. "Richard what where you thinking?" Beachwood-45789 is another along with Goofus.. and as others have stated here, Karen looks terribly thin here its painful to watch her. However her voice never failed.

  • she was so thin... It's hard to see her this way.

  • Very Special song !

  • This is so nice!

Made in America was such a lovely album with fresh hits!

80's songs! It was nice seeing the Carpenters performing this new sound. Karen Carpenter sounds amazing, so great!

    Perfect pitch and voice!

  • i want you back in my life again carpenters!

  • Karen looks like a walking skeleton--scary!

  • she looks so ill. love this song.

  • Karen's voice it timeless and PURE MAGIC, new singers will come and go, but she will outshine them forever! Why can't music of today be this good? what has happend to peoples tastes? music of today is just horrible, nothing has meaning or artistry anymore! I am a musician myself and I play The Carpetners songs all the time, I sing and play the piano

  • There's only one Karen Carpenter. No other voice comes close.

  • Why can't today's music be this good?!

  • @StreetTalkerNY because they cant write decent music anymore

  • lovely and divine...thank you......

  • Pure GOLD!!!!!

  • I love her, love all her songs...

  • Miss you, Karen! I want you back in my life again!
