yesterday i saw your dadgad book in the local musicstore, here in lannion brittany. thought i d try a youtube search, and so discovered your wonderful music.

dropped d is as far as ive done to date, but yr video has inspired me to try dadgad. on a tech. note i notice u use thumbpick, do u ever damp with heel of hand a la chet atkins??

Thank you so very much -- that's wonderful to hear! Yes, I damp the strings sometimes, but mostly when strumming (which I do with a thumbpick) rather than fingerpicking.
