nmapwin4..heres an idea..u an bedlore could grow some veggies in that beard media of his, just circulate the saliva from your mouths, maybe add some talapia..naw too risky,u might swallow.on the other hand then the farmers who got put out of work ..er ..i mean lost their fat government subsidies could get jobs as doctors and un lodge the talapia for you..bla bla..bla yeah i guess id rather starve to death than put a society fisherman out of work either.wtf
Sounds excellent. Many small aquaponics operators seem to exist (Eg Growing power) and yet the message doesn't seem to be spreading as well as it should/could.
to me this objection doesnt amount to much. the displaced farmers and fishermen will be able to find other work eventually, meaning that the work force will diversify, a process that has continued unabated for the last 300 years.
recall that in th 1800s america was 99% agrarian, and now it is 1%.... this idea would continue that trend...
This idea is a double edged sword, because although this would allow people to become more self sufficient and open more opportunities for anyone to grow their own crops and raise their own fish, it would devastate farmers and fishermen which make up a large part of society.
