@CGamer64 yeah, well, we caught up. I was born in 1999, and I never saw one in theaters until the Goblet of Fire, but i remember being 2 or 3 and watching the sorcerer's stone on DVD. I have been obsessed since then....books, movies, collectibles, everything. (: i went to the last midnight premier....it was amazing.

I pitty the generation that was born after the first movie was out, they will not know the true feeling of seeing the first for the first time in theaters, and after 10 years of seeing the movies with family and friends the satisfaction a life well spent.

Whats the difference between this and the recent release of the bluray box set?

@ade2007ade This one will have all the extras and special features and everything. The recent one is just a bare bones release of just the movies themselves.

Well, the did use the word "definitive", meaning this should be the last release of anything harry potter as far as movies go.

They already have been extended, as sold individually in the US and Germany etc as 'ultimate editions'. This definitive set is bound to contain the extended cuts... anyone doubting that needs to look up the word 'definitive' in the dictionary. I'm usually as cynical as they come, especially where Harry Potter and Star Wars is concerned, knowing how they get us to double/triple dip, but there's no way they'd call this 'Definitive' and not be the extended editions.

@GhibliFan1 Fair enough. I haven't bought a HP movie since GoF, for the simple reason that they always come up with new stuff, but I will buy this collection, and call it a close at that.
