  • Sweet music With a tang

  • FIVE FUCKERS LOVE DOING HEROIN!

  • Classic rap. Great message.

    Even more pertinent than ever...

Prefer Jazzy Jeff version rather than Funky 4 + 1!

    Where are you Jazzy?

  • JUST STOP IT!

  • @91Joko ah chika ah ah chika ahah

  • I seen some guy who looked like a mirror image of this guy hair and clothes about 3-4 years ago,I wish I got a pic of that dude shit was funny

  • Great video clip. Got the ringback for my phone at Celltonez,co,cc!

  • I use to fuck with heroin and this is true great music

  • He sued Jive Records and won the rights over the "Jazzy Jeff" name.

  • this aint the lengendray funky 4+1 this is jessy jeff

  • this is jessy jeff not the lengendary funky 4+1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Back when Rap was way more positive.

  • can anyone send me a link of where to down load it?

  • wow, it lives up to the origonal version, never heard this before, its good

  • Excuse me! Could u tell me what the song is about or send the text? i don't speak english very well... =)

  • It's about how Heroin ruins your life.

Bit like "White lines" but about heroin.

I love oldskool edutainment like this!

  • This Is Bad Ass

  • This was my Favourite Track as a kid, word up!! 1985 Baby Jazzy Jeff

  • This is really an inspartinoal song to all kids not to do drugs. ROCK ON MAN!

  • This is Jazzy Jeff...after he broke away from from the Funky Four.

  • This doesn't sound like the original version!

  • ye, samples re like that^^

  • I'm talking about the original version of King Heroin by Funky 4 + 1 more!

  • Fucking hell, im only 19 so my story isnt as intertwined into the roots of hip hop but i got into hip hop the same way every white kid did at that time - Eminem. I dont listen to him anymore but I still have his Infinite album on my itunes but the rest is underground hip hop and rock i used to listen to.

  • well im white im only 23 and i got into hip hop with 3 feed high and rising i still have the cassette tape somewere it came out in 89 so i was 5 lol stole it from the local hmv cause i like the colours on the from lol and loved it my mum was like were did u get this from i never saw it again for years after lol true story

  • haha that sounds exactly like me.

  • You either have some really good hip hop knowledge or copy/paste from wikipedia :P

  • no im only 23 and i knew all that already but yea i have good knowledge of music

  • I always thought this was just Jazzy Jeff & not the whole of Funky 4+1 more. But anyway been looking for this video for ages...Thanks.

  • dope

  • i love this style of hip-hop

  • OLD SCHOOL!

  • I love the smack. The cereal with the frog. Not the drugs. Silly.

  • The Apprentice theme (trump) copied the original music to this song. This song is a million times funkier than this version

  • Jazzy Jeff's solo stuff...amazing

  • WORD!!!!!

  • OMG i remember this tune! I loved it back in the day and it's still cool now. His flow is tight and the lyrics have substance. They should re-release this song, or update it into a 2007 remix to educate a younger generation. I'm 32 and from Australia and i remember this song coming out early to mid 80's. How about the braids? I think they are back in fashion lol!

  • No not remix it to 2000's version!

    Never change whats perfect

  • is funky4+1 the first Mc`s crew of bronx???

  • no. the Herculoids were the first and the first emcee ever was Coke La Rock. Bronx is the birthplace of hip hop (1973).

  • ummm i thought jazzy j or somthing -- solo - when he was hangin with rick rubin and them... !! maybe he produced it but his name was on tha cover a tha 12" just his --- didnt say nutn bout funky 4...my uncle has the 12"record --

  • Jazzy Jeff-1985

  • the classic song "king heroin" came out in 83', but this video is from later, and the music on the video is so weak compared to the original vinyl, the video sounds like an 85' remake.

    peace

  • nah it was about 86.its just the track didnt sound contempory at the time as he is original old school.the cut rocks though, and his flow and voice is dope..his voice and style remind me a bit of truemathematics, down with the bombsquad.
