@TheSuperforestman Uh... quite a few warlords distributed guns among soldiers. And Magoichi isn't exactly a samurai I don't think, more along the lines of a mercenary. Guns were debated during the period, as they did sort of take a lot of the honor away from combat, but it was always the warlords who used them, and used them effectively, that gained control. Look up the battle of Nagashino, that's an important example. Or just Oda Nobunaga in general.

@assaindude Like Fuma Kotaro and Katakura Kojuro, Saika Magoichi was the title belonging to the leader of their faction/clan. In the Sengoku era alone there are three separately identifiable Magoichi's as far as I know.

@IIIISIIII Gameplay wise, well only slightly different. Instead of Triangle being the only special attack, you have R1 and L1+triangle specials. Block & Dodge needs to be utilized more if you want to not get your behind handed to you especially when versing much stronger characters like Tachibana, Honda & Shimazu.

Story is much more appealing every character has individual paths and different speech rather than everything being the exact same regardless of the character. In the end it's better.
