@PDeepIn It's a song to God/Jesus. It's an expression of Sufjan's love for God and appreciation of God's sacrifice. HOWEVER, you can interpret it however you want. Sufjan's spirituality inspires some of his music, but he says his music is not the place for his religion, and what it may mean to him is different from what it may mean to someone else.

While it is clear that Sufjan himself is writing this song to God, someone may interpret the lyrics to have the meaning of a significant other or even something more abstract, such as peace of mind or even death. Music, especially broad and symbolic such as Sufjan's, rarely just means one universal thing.

Word of advice though, in your video description it's better to put "DISCLAIMER" than "NOTE" I got told off for that once on one of my videos, youtube deleted the audio track to five of my videos that hate "PLEASE NOTE" etc. After I wrote disclaimer and appealed against the removal of the audio track with a fair statement they put it back (: it would save you the hassle.
