  • It's a bitsa (bits of this bits of that )

  • anyway when i looked at the doors of these three elevators on the ground floor, they have the characteristic of a restaurant kitchen door rather than an elevator

  • this isn't even an Express or LG, just a tiny Marryat and Scott modernized by Thames Valley Controls. Hold the outer doors open gently a bit after the lift doors close and you get a rather loud siren, which is not supposed to be happening in new elevators. Anyway, its only a matter of time before these three unique lifts fall to the LUP axe as seen from a notice pasted in the building's ground floor

  • I am going to take the Lifts: A,B and C.

  • Marryat and Scott modernised/MUPed by Express

  • but i think it's LG.

because the buttons may look like LG and EXPRESS LIFT,BUT EXPRESS LIFT IS ANOTHER TYPE.

    SO THIS IS LG.

  • Sorry for all those comments, youtube jam / fail

  • MITSUBITSCHI !!!

    watch this one

    watch?v=R6xW37T66Do

The doors, windows in doors, floor indicator. All the same style

  • MITSUBITSCHI !!!

  • Why not attempt to wait for lift C when there are no events(When this kind of lift is still around now)?

  • or even Fujitec OR SIGMA???

  • this could be a LG or Express Lift

  • later also crashed down to first floor fast lol

  • Cool. An unique elevator with a cool drift/drag after the door closed.

  • Oh. I know. This is an EXPRESS LIFT elevator.

  • From another video this seems to be the case. But its different from the newly-built versions in newer HDBs in many aspects. This elevator appears to be unique in Singapore.

  • whats with the british chime and accent?

i think this is quite an old building right?

  • Yes, and it has a rather unique design. Other blocks around it are the standard refurbished two-door elevators.

  • I find the lights at the top and the fan very very rare, as well as the lift door, where the window is smaller than the normal windows.

  • I don't know what is the manufacturer though what I only know is that old lifts are usually made by Fujitec and Hitachi...

  • Fujitec was previously called Fuji in Singapore. I suspect that this elevator are manufactured by EMSU.

  • EMSU... I thought it is the Essential Maintenance Service Unit?

  • Yes. They update the elevator specifications list and test the elevator to check for any faulty equipment and other essential needs of the HDB flats in Singapore.

  • Maybe Dong Yang built it.

  • Maybe IFE Elevators made it?

  • Yes. I also suspect that IFE made it. Nowadays all the new elevator in Singapore are built by IFE Chevalier.

  • Yeah, especially lifts under LUP Programme. They look quite similar to Fujitec elevators.

  • what's IFE anyways?

i heard a lot of criticism about it.

  • It's a China-based lift manufacturer.
