  • Ohhh---thank you, tangobob11 for responding to my comment from 5 months ago! That's the fun part about commenting on you tube...sometimes long after you forget what you wrote, someone in the world responds with a treat of potentially helpful information! I'll check it out...and let you know if that's the one. Were you at the same show at Music Box--might you've heard the song but recognized it?:) By the way, since no one had answered within a week or two, I went out and bought two albums of AR.

  • This is the most unique, tripping me out music I've met in a long time---soo unexpected. What a delicious surprise- after seeing one of my favorite bands, Beachhouse, last night at the Music Box in L.A., the d.j. played Arthur Russel...and I instantly had to know who/what it was as I prepared to exit the venue. He told me the artist's name but not the song specific, so here I am , two hours on you tube still, trying to pinpoint which song I heard 7 hrs. ago for the first time. A. R. is .....wow!

  • @islandsq I bet it was How We Walk on the Moon (Youth Return to Base Edit)

  • for real - thanks for posting

  • @chillpullman Go look up 'genius' in the dictionary. You'll find that Arthur Russell fits in with at least one of the definitions. You can't deny that he was a remarkably creative individual. Whether or not you appreciate that is something that can't be disputed.

  • Where's this track from?

  • @tfbaxxter another thought, the compilation of unreleased stuff they released a few years after his death
