That Plane of Time theme sounds like the final dungeon in an old school console RPG. Makes me regret that I never got to go there before I retired from EQ1.
@aquaviann I retired from EQ shortly after finishing PoTime. I really felt I had done everything I had wanted to do and it was a good time to leave. classic through PoP was a great frickin game!
The Plane of Time theme is my favorite piece of video game music ever. Really stunning, and it captures the awe I felt when I saw people running around in fresh PoTime gear back when PoP was the new thing. I never wound up raiding PoT, so I don't know if the music really fit it -- but the music fit my perception of it. Perfect.
So atmospheric. :) Why couldn't EQ2 just be an awesome REMAKE of classic EQ? Sony had to go and mess everything up. :(

I played this while listening to WoW and it increased the epic feel of it tenfold.
Still doesn't even compare to old EQ... sigh

yea plane of time was perhaps one of the most epic zones ever, this track playing when you zoned in is one of many reasons why.

WoS is my second favorite for OoW, but Riftseekers Sanctum and Nobles' Cuaseway were my definate favs, good job!! <3
