@timothycayem the writing process was incredibly simple actually, i have an iPod touch and i write most of my stuff on that while listening to worship music. it all kinda came out at once. this is one of the few poems i've written where i've gone back and done revisions. it just kinda happened and it was amazing :) Holy Spirit power man

Besides, living for God and following the type of life God wants you to live is not some religious teaching garbage like I used to think. I used to think nothing of religion and of christianity because going to church was boring. Then I realized being a christian is Not about going to church it is about deepening your relationship with God because that is all God wants.
God is in love with you and all he wants is you. I respect your choice whatever it is, just wanted to say that

You know, @polsfuta rarely is that the case. I like that what you said wasn't bashing him and i thank you for that respect youve shown. But I would like to briefly express my story for it is one that proves what you said wrong. Why, because I am a sinner. And since I was about 15, 2 yrs ago, I was a lukewarm christian. I mean that i said i was a christian but still i went and I sinned I left jesus in a box thrown in the dirt but now, I keep Jesus at the forefront of my actions...
However I will say that there was a lot of emotion here and it did to give me goosebumps... Aside from that I hope you one day realize the truth and start living the way "you" want and not the way you've been brain-washed to live. I say this in total awareness that you will reply ( I am living the way I want).... you did not chose this life on you're own. You were introduced to this crap at a young age ( reasoning abilities not fully developed ) and it seemed like the right thing.
For reasonably intelligent people who aren’t suffering from major issues with low self-esteem, religion is ridiculously consciousness-lowering. We still in 2012 have people who allow an absolute idiotic story of our creation rule their lives. Yes you can say its your life, but whats the point of filling your mind with garbage? Your intellect is a much better instrument of spiritual growth than any religious teachings. Ignorance gets you no-where!
