GTA IV on HD3650 is only for someone who doesn't give a shit he's getting 15-20FPS. I tried it on my Toshiba A350D with Turion RM72, 4GB ram and HD3650 512MB DDR2, still on the lowest settings at 1366x768 it was unplayable.

@mihai96z3d if i turn the vsync off my processor gets to hot and shuts down the laptop, and probably some dust in the fans of a couple of years of use. how can you stop the lag in 1.0.7.0 patch? with the 1.0.4.0 the trick was disabling the windows event log (win7 x64) and the game was smooth, now back to lag.. is there a way to calm down the processor? even in pause menu the fans go crazy! i still "dream" of a successfully gta config.. in xp x86 it was working

@mitdafocas from what I know I don't play this game anymore...but the patch 1.0.4.0 optimizes the game 1.0.7.0 adds some visuals...for me works better 1.0.4.0

Hey, I almost have the same configuration as yours but I get around 5-10 fps. Even if I run it on the lowest possible settings. I got a HD3650 as well. 3GB DDR2 ram and 2.4 Ghz.

yo i am running this game on an amd phenom x3 2.1 ghz, 2gb ram and ati 3650 512mb ram but on lowest settings and it runs perfect!

There is something wrong with mine. all it'll do, is run it lowest at about 15-20 fps. COD4 runs at 800x600, all options turned off. While others run it so much better! Why?

what is the speed of your pentium 4? what is your video card? is it agp or pci express? i've seen people run it with a pentium 4 and get like 25 frames?

@extremepsychogamer It's a 524, with hyperthreading running at 3 ghz. LGA775 socket, and the card is a PCI express x16. Doesn't matter though, getting a new pc soon, with a AMD sixcore, and a 5830. That'll work fine. (i am replying from my other account).

omfg..turn off vsync dude!!!! turn off or or put shadows on medium!!! vsync limits your fps to your screen rate!!

Desactiva V-Sync, eso chupa muchos frames e igual las sombras, esas las deberias poner en medio y lo demas creo si te lo aguantaria en alto, o en medio y te funcionaria mejor.

my cpu usage is only 36% for my phenom 3.0ghz 945 is my ati 3650 1gb bottlenecking it cause on medium settings it plays at about 35fps and 45fps on low will a better gpu help

if you got an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 512 mb forget you'll ever play GTA4 without glithces lags on the lowest settings. As I got this GPU on my laptop. Everything else is great but the GPU sucks bad.
