Totally agree; however, there was a point in the early 90's when I felt he was about to become the world's biggest rock star, but then it came out that he was gay, and that was that. Think about this: look at all the big bands who have played the Superbowl over the past 15 years, and why has REM been excluded? Maybe next year, because they should be next in line. I kind of felt bad making my comment, because I love the music.
