I am not a fan of capital punishment, but in cases like these, what else can they do? Especially with someone like Bundy, who was escaping. Think about the amount of crimes & victims of his we don't know about. However, I don't think I could watch someone's execution nor would I be one of those outside of the prison counting it down and cheering.. Garbage (t bundy types) should be executed quickly (a week or 2 after conviction) and with very little allowable taxpayer money on legal defense, as the conviction is indefensible - and by law the fees for it should be low (garbage isn't worth it) - a state defense lawyer should be 7 dollars an hour, max 100 hours. Finally, the sentence should be 'do to the murderer as he or she did to the victim(s)'. Rape (broomsick), mutilization, so on and so forth. Till this transpires it's not equal, no way

I am not Ted Bundy's judge by any means but as a society we cannot tolerate this for our daughters, wives, or mothers. However it is our duty to extinguish this kind of evil and make a statement to society that we cannot tolerate this behavior. If we do tolerate it we are just like the heathens just as the Bible says.

I would imagine that when homocidal urges appear they'd be very offputting and be brushed to the side time and again by the person having them until they act on them. At that point I would think that there would be very little energy devoted to trying to understand the urge.
