Mayweather isn't all that good in the early rounds because he doesn't watch tapes and neither does his trainer. So he adjust in the early rounds but Pac's team does watch tapes and they train him based on that. Mayweather doesn't run away he's just being a smart fighter and he's defensive so he has to read the other fighter to know what to do. All anybody cares about is who does the most damage, that doesn't prove anything.

Pac looses easy. His fight with Clottey exposed him, It showed he couldn't adapt to Clottey's style he couldn't stop his counter punches either. Anyone that saw the fight saw Manny's face afterwards. Mayweather isn't all that good in the early rounds because he doesn't watch tapes and neither does his trainer. So he adjust in the early rounds but Pac's team does watch tapes and they train him based on that. Mayweather doesn't run away he's just being a smart fighter and he's defensive so he has to read the other fighter to know what to do. All anybody cares about is who does the most damage, that doesn't prove anything.

Floyd? More gutsy? No way. He's far too cerebral in the ring, and WHEN he gets touched by Manny he won't automatically develop some killer instinct he's NEVER had. He will be on his bike, defensive and countering throughout. Manny is a whirlwind for Floyd, so Floyd will stay on the outside and not engage. If he does decide to exhange with Manny, do you really think he has the power to come out on top in an inside war? I don't see it. Floyd is great, no doubt. Manny is Alltime.

this will play an important part. jmm was the big problem for manny. he follows up with no care if you're hurt or not. also, manny didn't do a great job boxing forward. cotto outboxed him&seemed pants down for a while. remember how hatton got knocked out.

The only person who floyd has blatantly avoided fighting was paul williams. but if the money was right, im sure he'd take the fight- but no way hes gonna hand pick somone like that. manny's a great puncher, but is not smart enough to handle the adjustments that mayweather makes on a second by second basis. that power doesnt mean shit when you dont hit anything. watch how frustrated manny will be by round 9 or 10. watch. frustration runs a toll on stamina immensely in boxing.

JMM has been close to beating(or beat) pac cos he counter punches between exchanges. Morales beat pac cos he couter punches between exchanges.
If Floyd doesn't do that. he can' t beat manny throwing one punch at a time. Manny can pressure him with his flurries and get out of the way before he can land a significant singe counter punch to put manny on the defensive.
Floyd needs to step a notch on his aggressiveness against manny.

Pacquiao possesses more power, stamina, resilliance, and energy than floyd. They are both about even on speed, and accuracy. Mayweather has good defense, but Pac's defense has gotten a lot better lately, and his hook counterpunch is underestimated, look what it did to hatton in round 2. Mayweather, Pac doesnt get tired,gonna be extremely hard to counter and play defense against Pac who throws an average of 600-700 shots/fight with a connection rate of over 50%.
