I have a quick question about your reflectors on your jackets I have bought a canada goose jacket and all i have looked at do not have the reflector on it do i need to put a reflective strip on myself? thank you
@crazyscientist The reflectors are a form of safety device. If you become lost, they may save your life by allowing others to find you. They have no thermal properties whatsoever. You can easily add them yourself if you feel they are required. I might suggest using velcro, so you can remove them if necessary.
I smile whenever I watch this! I love the way the gator slides on over your head, Michelle! When the altitude was high I was always exhausted by the time I got my ECW on and just wanted to rest.
TBL + TML + IL + OL = Thermal Base Layer (polypro or merino wool), Thermal Mid Layer (merino wool), Insulation Layer (Wool is best but synthetic is super light), Outer Layer or Shell (windproof, waterproof but breathable). I can walk around with -45F and not even feel the cold. I'm personally not a huge fan of Fleece, I think it's overrated for it's bulk compared to merino wool but to each his/her own.
Wow. At 0:46 she's putting on, I think, the Carhartt R03 Arctic Bib Overalls. I just bought a pair of these for riding my motorcycle here in Pennsylvania. It only gets down to like zero F at the worst, usually, but at 65 MPH into a 10 MPH headwind, the wind chill is -36F at that temp.
I am the lady from the Chichen Itza trip. Sent my book club your video and you may get some comments or questions from some of them. Love the video, but glad it's not my daily routine to go outside. Hope things are going well for you.
I would like to be part of this ritual. How easy/difficult is it to get a job up there? How many hoops do they make you jump through? Add more videos!!! Please.
Michelle should have turned around to show us the ARSH!!!
