This is not a desert! This video was filmed in Poland. The dunes near the coastal town of Leba. Have you ever seen the desert grass and conifer trees? Look carefully at the whole video. :)

It's not necessary for every female singer to be like Houston! For me emotionality is one of the main advantages of a singer in general! See how emotional and touching her performance is!

Besides, if she weren't good enough, the guys wouldn't have collaborated with her: they always choose talented people!

You know, I love the instrumental version as much as anyone, but the lyrics to the song are so profoundly simple that I can't help but love it.
