@1990babyface I'm not really sure, though I'm guessing it is Aaliyah, just heavily made-up. After filming they probably did something computer-ish.

@LimikoChan When I saw it, it still reminds me of a story in the bible where a woman was turned into a pillar of salt. It looks like Aaliyah made out of a pillar of salt.

@1990babyface its prob a mask mold..you ever seen the making of Thriller? when they made a mold of his face to make his werewolf/zombie mask it looked exactly like the statue. it may be a mold of her whole body

@1990babyface well aaliyah herself was probably thinking "this is so cool" or was very happy to be apart of the movie... akasha was probably thinking "who is this young fellow who has awoken me" in a higher power way but thing again she did help him find the eye lock to open the doors to find her statue in the first place.. oh yea i found out what she was covered in "alabasque" to make the statue but i doubt she was still in the statue as they filmed it because she wouldnt be able to breathe

@1990babyface why would they want to do that? thats a strange thing to say... um but i dont think the statute was made of hard porcelain like real statues..its just a mold..and the mole probably still exists and is with who ever was allowed to have it, most likely the director or maker of the mole

I haven't yet watched QOTD (reading the book...) but I can't say I like what they did with Akasha and Enkil D: They look too much like statues, not enough like vampires. In the book, they had hair and clothes seperate to their bodies...gah, as far as I can see the films sadly don't do the books justice T_T
