  • goose bumps... that's rare...well done.

  • Any Idea what BRAND of French Horn she's using? Very Brilliant!

  • Wow. You're a true inspiration! Because of you, I am playing this excerpt for an upcoming audition.

Thank you so much for sharing your talents with the world!

  • For all horn players, I would be honoured if you would submit a Horn I or Horn II for the Virtual Orchestra Project. It's very straightforward - once you go to the site it's easy to follow from there.

Or even submit a Horn I *and* a Horn II :)

Watch the tutorial video on how to take part in this historic project. The submissions so far are beautiful.

To get an idea of the scope, search for user "VirtualOrchestra" (or click on my username).

  • Been playing for 3 years and a half. I can play this just not anywhere near this good. One day though.

  • Wow, amazing...this song is not easy by any means. Props to you!!

  • i only wish i could play horn like, this maybe in 20 or 30 years,i have only been playing 1 year,i will get better though

  • awesome. I think it is a unpainted 103 Alexander horn. The best horntone I've heard ever.

  • I think you are right, the big trigger valve that is upside down to my American eyes looks like the Alexander, and a great horn too.

  • This is wonderful, holy crap! Puts things into perspective she's only 6 years older than me and in a professional orchestra lol..theres no hope!

  • Wow! This sounded good even from my laptop speakers. I can only imagine what it sounded like live.

  • When a horn player draws praise from other horn players, I think we can all know that the playing is exceptional.

  • Beautiful!!! And she plays really well, too!

  • WOW che meraviglia... bellissimo!!!

  • Dude! Freakin' A! She's hella good haha

I wish I could reach C like her XD

    Go F Horn players!

i'm myself a musician so i know how things may sound...

    she's soo amazing really

  • I will happily agree with you! I myself play the French Horn, and I love every second of it! I did a review on this video and I thought this was amazing! Brava!

  • AB - FAB !

  • I didn't know one instrument could sound so full. But I am not a muso. Nice.

  • This sounds great!! I am singing my first Siegfried in about 3 months and I can only hope for such wonderful playing while I make believe on stage. Brava!!!

  • Wow. That is all i have to say.

  • this is like the best horn playing I ever heard. I tried playing this peice and to play the eighth notes that fast is crazy and the high C is so clean when she plays it!! its like she is playing one below the staff! the sound is so big and tone is amazing even though its in a big room. so much air for the horn she is using. the best ever!!

  • Fantastique! I don't know if it's because of the place your playing but your sound is so ... WOW ! Great job!

  • Bravo!

  • Isn't it written in 6/8?

  • shes good ;)

  • Stunningly beautiful. And her horn playing is not bad either. What a sound!!!

  • .looks like a young Jodie Foster.

  • Utterly amazing i played it in Carniege hall and i couldn't get an echo like that.

  • spr çalıo

  • sehr schön...nur ein kleiner fehler in dem sauschweren stück;) respekt;)

  • Beautiful!!

She´s amazing!! I had the pleasure to meet her and listen to her for a week las summer :)

  • Was that an edit at about 1:49?

    Fine playing none-the-less!

  • vaya pedazo sonido tiene...

  • Great playing. I am a pro horn player in London and me and the horn section have just heard it. that Horn call is really impersesive.

  • amegenity ,FL,USA-- absolutely wonderful playing and may you have a long, successful career, including many recordings!

  • A little research revealed that Ms. Eriksson performed in the Royal Swedish Opera's production of "Siegfried"...to excellent reviews. I would guess that the magnificent space is in the Royal Opera House.

  • Wonderfully played Ms. Eriksson! I would have held the final C a little longer. But that is not a criticism. Where is that beautiful space you are in? And are you in an orchestra? I would like to hear more of your playing.

  • It's only written as a quarter note inavery fast 3/4.

  • Nice to hear it played in high heeled shoes for a change. Good luck with the live performances!
